The service by Marcelo & Anyela at French Place was amazing. They kept us informed on the progress of our order including offering a refund when the oseas shipment was delayed. We kept our order in place and received it in perfect condition via their chosen transporter across to WA. Our unit was huge so Marcelo checked and checked again that we could definitely physically get it into our chosen space, which was very thorough service. He also gave us tips on best installation methods. It took 5 guys to install but we did it with ease and drama free. I absolutely love the end result and the product quality is fantastic. Very solid and an amazing finish. I am so happy I took the punt on this online purchase as it was very much the style I wanted and definitely the most cost effective unit we found even with the added freight costs - which were also very reasonable. I would definitely buy from these guys again and recommend them. ?

Bought this stunning Harvey Black 255 cm bookcase online in April from the French Place. Arrived on time, in perfect condition & better than described. Marcelo arranged my delivery to the Sunshine Coast, answered all my questions (especially since I was buying online sight unseen for a big chunk of money), & kept me informed of progress on a regular basis.
I am beyond ecstatic with my purchase, looks stunning in my media room & is a great talking point with all the visitors to my new home. I would (& have) highly recommend this product. The guys at French Place are amazing. I bought the Olivier bookcase and had the colour customised. Throughout the whole process Carl and Marcelo were great - keeping me updated and replying to my questions very quickly. You not only get fantastic service, but when my bookcase arrived this week I was so happy with it. The quality is great and it looks fantastic. Great value for money and the colour is exactly what I wanted! I would highly recommend this company and will likely be buying more from them in the future. Thanks guys - I love it!

I had a table very similar that I’d bought in the States and when I saw this one knew I had to buy it. Staff were really responsive to email, it was easy to order online and to schedule delivery. Delivery was interstate and a reasonable price.
The table is great quality and can mix and match with different style chairs. Highly recommend!

This company is simply fantastic to deal with ! The quality of furniture is just beautiful and the customer service is old fashioned “can I help you with anything” nothing was a problem for these guys and I am so excited that I was able to purchase their amazing pieces of furniture. They went over and above to arrange delivery and everything was perfect. So happy !

Disappointing with the lack of communication.
The furniture piece itself is beautiful however after two years of owning our table we have a burn mark. We asked if they could advise the name of the lacquer so we could repair it to which we were told they could send out a repair kit to us for a fee - which we very happy with. I initially asked how to make payment for the repair kit 09/09 to which we were told they have to see if they stock - to this day after multiple emails we haven’t heard back about the repair kit. Really disappointing as we love the furniture from here but the after sale scare has left a sour taste in our mouth.
