I have donated all my life... as im heading with the donation in my hand the manager lady Julia came outside grabing stuff out of my hand tellin these items are not ok to sell. Pillow, jacket and kids shoes. I agree with the pillow but other items were totally fine.. She was very rude i got very upset i had kids shoes that was totally fine to used again she agrued no we cant take them so i took all my stuff back in the car i was so upset i wont let this go i went inside with the shoes she followes me to the shop. I have seen worst shoes in there i demanded to speak her manager. I felt so belittled judged and humiliated.
Next day i left the item infront of salvos for free.
I will never again donate to this Salvos

Tried to donate my clothes that I don't wear and also my boys clothes that he outgrew wouldn't except them nothing wrong with them they weren't being worn so I thought I'll donate them not possible they only want brand new clothes that's fine I'll be taking all donations to good Sammy's in Morley from now on they were so rude throwing my donations back at me

Very rude staff member Lizzy was her name she first off yelled at me and my son as we walked in. Secondly I went to the counter to pay for my items that were priced at $1 each she then decided to change the price to $4 each I was like they are $1 so she went out the back to ask another staff member for a price which she said $1 and then she was like $3or $4 then. This is supposed to be a shop for people struggling or lil money if I wanted to pay full cost or more I'd buy new.

This place is absolutely amazing what dedicated and humble people..providing the needy with food parcels, clothing and listening ears..
All volunteers are friendly and professional and the staff makes life easier for all well done too you all for servicing the community with dignity..
