Great Store, Great products, Friendly Staff, I Love using the Self Serve and the staff are always there to help if needed. If I do want to use a Checkout, I always find it relatively quick and am happy to wait because the staff are always nice.

The 200g 2 for $5 Pre packed lettuce is always soggy and rotten in a day. The fish deli counter always has rotting fish there, if you can smell it then they need to be thrown out. I won't be shopping there anymore if I can help it. Rather the Woodside foodland

Ok who was the brain child that decided to discontinue VITA BRITS
We have diabetics and special dietary needs in our family. VITA BRITS has less sugar and is easily digested.
Lately I have gone shopping and the items we need are not there. Liddell lactose free. Zymil cream.
We never purchase fruit and vedge from Coles or woolies as it is rotting. And the seafood is a dance with death. Smells like a urinary tract infection.
I enquired about the VITA BRITS a nice young man looked it up and yes discontinued. These products are not a trend in our family by school mums we have a genuine medical diagnosed requirement. About your meat prices.
Shocking highway robbery. We are primary producers of cattle and sheep. Yes a farm not a hobby farm but a real farm. I can tell you we certainly do not get your sale prices per caucus. We breed the best and govt sell it overseas leaving Australia with frozen 2nd grade over priced product. Mark up 300%
Coles you need to know your customers and get with the program. Coles mt Barker is declining lately. Disappointing.

Nice clean store with mostly friendly staff.
This store loses two stars due to the too many self checkout options. I refuse to do the work for the store and find it absolutely ridiculous that there aren't more staffed checkouts. I would certainly come here more often if there were. As it stands, I only come if the other supermarket doesn't stock an item I require.

Where hopes and dreams go to die. Only go out of absolute necessity. Horrible vibe, markdowns non existent and staff seem to hate that they have become patrollers of automation

The customer service at Coles Mount Barker was, without exaggeration, the worst I’ve ever encountered. Using the self-checkout for just a few items, the machine ran out of paper for my receipt. I waited for assistance from two staff members who were busy chatting and entirely oblivious to their actual job—helping customers.

When I finally managed to get their attention, one staff member vanished without explanation. I turned to the remaining person, Tamika, to ask where the other had gone, and out of nowhere, she erupted. Raising her voice and behaving irrationally, she yelled at me like I had committed some heinous offense by simply needing help. When I calmly asked her to settle down, she screamed, “Don’t you tell me to settle!” It was surreal, stressful, and completely unacceptable.

This bizarre and hostile behavior, especially from someone tasked with assisting paying customers, was a disgrace. Coles should seriously reconsider who they put in customer-facing roles—because this experience was as unprofessional as it gets.

They took away the 12 items or less checkout! They lost me. Shop elsewhere now. I'm not doing self checkout.

Typical bullying by large corporation over small customer. Paid for groceries via Eftpos debit card & received one receipt. Upon checking bank account, two identical payments were taken by Coles. Complained at the store advising them that the money was immediately taken from savings account and must be refunded. Provided evidence on phone at the store, but was told we must wait due to their protocols and a refund should be forthcoming in a timeframe suitable to them. Too bad we are out over $100 due to their faulty system. The assistance provided was one of "not my fault" we have to follow procedure. Too bad - so sad! Guess who will never darken the doors of a Coles store ever again! Corporate profits and greed over simple refund process. Thank God for Foodland & IGA here in SA. Fingers crossed we might get our stolen cash soon.
