Lovely restaurant with nice views. We haven't been hungry but stepped for light lunch. Some chips and salad with drinks. Our girl host was lovely,polite,friendly and helpful. I had grabbed a bottle of steel water from the desk, and she quickly offered her help. Then she asked me if I wanted sparkling water instead, which was nice of her. When I was paying a bill, I found it did cost me $6.00.
Regardless, it was nice break and all staff did smile. All what we really needed in this great venue with lovely view.

We had such a lovely time at Garrison Restaurant & Bar! It was our first visit and also our anniversary, so the staff made us feel extra special by acknowledging both. The service was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived.

The oysters, locally sourced from the Albany bay, were absolutely delicious—so fresh and full of flavour. The wines were a perfect match for the meal, and the mocktail options were a nice touch for something a bit different.

The view from the restaurant is amazing, with stunning scenery all around. We also visited the ANZAC memorial ground and would have loved to spend even longer there.

We’ll definitely be returning. It’s a fantastic place for a relaxed meal with great food, drinks, and an unforgettable view.

This was our first time dining at Garrison Restaurant & Bar, and we chose it based on its great Google reviews. The location offers a stunning view, and the experience is even more special with the Anzac Memorial nearby. The ambiance was fantastic, making it a lovely spot for a meal. The food was good—both the fish and oysters were incredibly fresh. This place is definitely worth visiting, especially for those looking to enjoy a meal with a beautiful view.

What an unexpected surprise to find this gem of a restaurant nestled high above the Western Australian town of Albany. We were greeted with a friendly gesture to a table with breath taking views of King George sound. I tried the local Wilson’s Pale Ale which was as good as any I have ever tried. With lunch there are many Great southern wines to accompany their local delicacies from the paddock or the sea. The Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay were memorable.

Our waiter Marius was fabulous and attended to our every need. As always, the staff make the experience complete.

Then we were literally transported back in time.

After lunch, right next door, and only a short walk away is the Anzac museum. This museum
Is an incredible experience and fitting tribute to Australia’s fallen soldiers. The Anzac museum I must say had me feeling quite emotional.

This is a ten out of ten visit not to be missed. If you haven’t been here, come.

The ambience was great! The staff were very friendly and helpful! The dishes we had were amazing. The flavour profiles of the chilli zucchini, jackfruit taco, roast chicken gnocchi and seafood tortelloni were nothing that we had tasted before. And the tart tatin was exceptional. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and it was an exceptional place to be! Would definitely recommend and visit when we are in Albany again.

We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The food was beautifully prepared and delicious, and the view made it all the more special. The service was attentive and professional, adding to the overall experience. While it’s a bit on the expensive side, it’s worth it for a treat or a special occasion.

My wife and I eat out regularly mainly at the wineries in the Busselton region and I would have to say that this was the best meal I have had in years. Not to say the the others weren't great though.
I had the Wagyu and my wife had the seafood tortellini
My steak was perfectly cooked, seasoned well and well presented. Taste was awesome
Wife's tortellini was as if made by nonna. Faultless. Can't remember the name of of the side salad that I had but it was rocket something and was full of flavour and ingredients. Not your usual green leaves and half a cherry tomato. Wife had roasted zucchini and fetta. Yum!
The desert we had was delicious. Wish I had taken more notice of the menu but it was something like sponge with rum and torched pineapple and icecream. Damn it was good!
Overall we had a bloody great meal and the staff were friendly and attentive
Only downside was there was no bread left and 2 deserts were unavailable but we did go on a Sunday close to closing time.

From the wonderful, friendly service; magnificent views; delightful decor; delicious cocktails; amazingly fresh and tasty bread to the most incredible food, there is nothing more you could desire. We were so satisfied with our Garrison Gnocchi and Pork Tenderloin that we had to skip dessert, even though they sounded so decadently tempting. The whole experience almost made me wish that I lived in Albany so that I could come back again and again. Thank you!
