The train carriage is gorgeous and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The view of the Stirling Range is outstanding, but what makes the place truly special is the host Stuart and his wife. They have given us a very warm welcome with fresh produce and all sorts of delicious things. We are already planning our next stay!

Certainly a unique place to stay. Quaint & peaceful. These people go out of their way to make their guests feel right at home & the breakfast food was wonderful. The home made fruit tarts delicious. Fresh farm eggs, local bacon & bread. All types of coffee & tea. Real farm milk, wonderful. Even a wee drop of port. Highly recommended if you want to get off the common beaten track & be spoilt for choice.

My partner and I stayed here for a night to climb Bluff Knoll. Absolutely stunning couldn’t fault the hospitality, Stuart was amazing with showing us around and we even had some home made treats to welcome us. clean and tidy with absolutely stunning views and atmosphere!

Honestly, this is such an amazing place to stay. Unique accommodation, so many homemade/grown or local goodies to enjoy, great views, loads of bird life to see from the veranda, peaceful and in an interesting area to explore. Loved it.

Amazingly peaceful accommodation. The extra add ins of fresh bread, milk, bacon and farm fresh eggs is beyond amazing. My son really enjoyed feeding the animals and having a safe environment to run off some energy. Stuart was very welcoming and a wonderful host. Definitely recommend if you have a night or two to spare.
