How the hell do people give this place less than 5 stars? THE BEST CHIPS EVER! Had octopus and nduja croquettes, smoked trout and horseradish dip, battered mullet and the grilled octopus and beef tallow chips. Food was amazing. Staff just as good. Only wish a second stomach to fit more in.

I had the beer battered fish and chips (fried in beef dripping option) and it was delicious! Everything was fresh and crispy.

Serving size was just right for me - I had chips to spare. Definitely a place that priorities quality over quantity. Cost is higher than bog standard fish and chips but the quality is worth it.

Service was lovely. The place is run by a family who also sponsor the local Coledale Waves ladies soccer team.

We took the chips to the local beach to eat with a view as the shop isn't really designed for eat-in, but when you're so close to the beach it's perfect.

I'd definitely come back here again.

My partner and I came here this afternoon. We were very excited to try Rosie’s and they did not disappoint. The grilled fish was fresh and tasty and loved the pickled onions that came with the fish and chips. The beef dripping chips were crispy and perfectly salted. We also had the beef dripping scallop that they reccomend and we are so glad they did. It was beautifully crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The trout and horseradish dip with cucumber was also to die for! We loved it and will definitely be coming back.

The BEST fish and chips I’ve had, full stop. Don’t miss out on the beef dripping chips, they’re hand cut and pack so much crunch and flavour.

The fish is sustainably caught, the batter is light and you can taste the beer in the batter (which surprisingly is not common these days).

Everything here is made in house and you can taste it down to the tartare sauce.

Came across this gem randomly on a Sunday drive down the coast. It’s got such a beautiful aesthetic, love that the fish & chips come in paper and that they have curry sauce!! We had grilled fish & chips with a side of coleslaw. The size of the fish was pretty underwhelming for $25 compared with every other fish and chip shop I’ve ever been to. The chips were nice however unfortunately a bit cold. Very keen to come and try again another time 🙂

You've got to love crunchy beer battered fish, still tasty and soft, with a hefty serve of triple cooked hand cut chips. A true coastal smacking delight.
hand cut are from Robertson potatoes. Fish is pink ling caught on a line in sustainable fishing. Rosie's also does a pumpkin salad, and other smaller sides. Battered sausage or buttermilk fried chicken bites. Next time I'll try the fish burger. Take your time in Coledale it's worth the drive down the grand pacific drive.
