I love The Source in Mount Hawthorn. I know I can depend on the quality of the products and the staff are always super helpful and chatty. Yes, sometimes regular favourites have run out, but I know it's because they aim to offer the highest quality products, which are not always easy to source. The range of products is brilliant - much better and fresher than the supermarkets for things like muesli, healthy snacks, grains and nuts - without the unwanted additives and packaging.

I shop here a lot and spend a lot. It is expensive so service should be good. What I find disappointing that they have a sample jar at the counter which always seems to be empty. The one time I asked to actually taste the sample I was told No because it had to be cut up. They will happily take the $100 odd dollars I spend every week but won’t go out of their way to let me taste something on offer. Don’t have the jar there if you are not going to follow through with your offer. As well a lot of products are always sold out. Might try the Floreat store now and see if it’s different there. Alternatively there are other bulk food places around so might be time to check them out.

I do my shopping Tuesday or Wednesday every week at this store for a while and my experience is amazing. Help , inquiries or just a friendly chat is always there. Great customer service, keep it up 👍

I waited patiently while the customer being served started registering email etc. took some time. Then she disputed the amount. All in took about 5mins. Jess served next customer. Ok. Two more people entered the store. I gave Jess my order which was for 2types of flour. She took me to the flour bins and told me I’d have to serve myself because she had people waiting. I pointed out that I had been waiting all that time and insisted she do it. With very bad grace she did so and practically threw them on the counter. I asked her to tape the bags. All too much. Very rude and unprofessional. Won’t let her serve me next time.

I am super annoyed at Alexia.. I came in for a simple scoop of Hemp protein and left with the nougat as well. The nougat is Delish btw. Alexia was too good! Helped me out updated my rewards thingie and all with a smile. How am I supposed to go anywhere else now?

I’ve been a member since 2010 when I live in Sydney. The stock is fresh and varied. Disappointed that on the last two visits there have been no Organic Chocolate Buckini clusters.
