I was deeply disappointed and frustrated with the poor management at this store. I recently purchased a Canon Powershot SX70HS camera for $899. We opened and tested it in-store, but by the next day, I realized it was too bulky for travel. I called the store to ask if I could exchange it for a smaller model, as their return policy allows returns within seven days with a 20% restocking fee. When I called the store, they initially told me they could replace it as long as I returned it as soon as possible since I had just purchased it. However, when I returned the next day, they claimed my camera had scratches, which was impossible since I brought it back immediately after purchase.

They refused an exchange or refund due to these scratches even though I had barely handled the camera. Instead, they told me they’d file a report and let me keep the camera in the meantime. I called almost every day to follow up, only to find out after two weeks that no report was ever filed. Then, the manager informed me they could no longer accept the return since two weeks had passed. To make matters worse, they offered to buy the camera back for only $500—despite the fact that I paid $899 just days earlier.

This experience has been extremely disappointing, and I feel misled by the store’s handling of my request and their lack of accountability.
