Where to start! Late Friday emergency occurred for my company and required a 15m boom for the following morning.
Steve went out of his way majorly to make this happen, absolutely professional and would recommend to anyone.
Scott the delivery driver also very professional given the time of delivery was well past 6pm.

Alrighty where to start! First I have never ever written a review on any company ever before but this one I just have to. This place is an absolute and uttter joke. Husband had a job in the city & needed a boom lift hired. Organised with Westside hire to measure and supply which boom lift was needed for job. So this monsterous boom lift arrived onsite Thursday 30th August 18 that nearly blocked the entire Hill street in the city. This machine was enormous, totally oversized and could not be used to how big this machine was as it wasn’t a partial obstruction of the footpath it was a complete full obstruction of the footpath which it couldn’t even fit on the footpath as promised. As soon as it was delivered it was rung through to pick it back up straight away as it was blocking the loading zone/street so it never got used. It was returned due to their wrong measurement and not suitable for the job site. So that was that and heard nothing and was all done and dusted. 4 WEEKS LATER an amount of $330 got charged from Westside Hire with absolutely no communication or invoice provided for what it was charged for. Only received a receipt after they proceeded the amount & got approved. Called the office on the Thursday 27th September for an explanation as it was their problem they ordered & supplied the wrong machine & why after 4 weeks they had charged us with no invoice. So have been phoning every single week and always getting some excuse but that’s if we could actually get in contact with them we always seem to be having to leave messages all the time. Then finally on the 27th September spoke to Steve and the other business owner Wayne was away in Melbourne for the grand final & wouldn’t be back until the Tuesday which he had to speak to him. Didn’t get a phone call back from anyone which they promised. Called back a week and a half later & now the other owner was away on holidays. This has kept going on and on for 3 weeks that one of them was away on holidays. Then finally got to speak to Wayne last week and he would have to check things out and wait for Steve to get back again! As he couldn’t access his computer for emails. This has been going on and on for a month already. And once again waiting for a phone call from Steve as he is on holidays until the 22nd October. BLOODY USELESS! If I could give them zero stars I would!

All i can say to this is WOW you know how to twist and turn all your stories around. Everything that we mentioned was and is true with all evidence logged. So the facts are the facts we provided. There is huge miscommunication with your business and is very unorganized.

This company is very very much all about the dollar., money money money!!! Very money hungry even when they supply and measure the wrong machine that is unfit/not suitable for the job they have the cheek to still charge and think thats okay. No customer service at all. In fact Steve had the audacity to contact Scott on our small family business facebook page with misleading and false allegations.

Would never ever recommend this company to anyone or if you really really have to unfortunately just proceed with high high caution with everything. Just go to Kennards Hire they are absolutely amazing and so much cheaper aswell which is a bonus!!!
