I needed some high performance SD cards for the next day. I was able to get what I needed and best of all at 8pm at night. Early to late Officeworks opening hours is alway fantastic when you work long hours like I do.

Tried to purchase items for a couple of hundred dollars just now - just needed help to locate them. The only staff member on the floor was walking around looking busy and averting his gaze (a la Bunnings). Patiently waited for what looked like a manager to finish chatting with register staff. He then served instead someone who had just walked up. Left empty handed. Will probably not bother coming here again and will review my business account with them too.

Only same-day printers for miles. In the MIDDLE of a print job, they started taking the printer apart. The manager did absolutely nothing to delay the maintenance and in fact implied that I was rude for asking them to wait 5mins until our job was finished, rather than the customer wait 30mins for the printer maintenance to finish.

No logic or customer-centric thinking whatsoever!!!

Someone from Officeworks HQ needs to go through this place with a big broom, starting with the management. Like all the other reviewers here I have given up and walked out because I just could not get anyone to serve me. First time was the photo printing experience, machines that don't work and a bunch of staff pretending to look busy and refusing to help. Then I tried to buy something and stood waiting in the queue. There were zero customers being assisted or served and 10 staff members in the customer staff area but no customer service. The ringleader was obviously a guy, slightly older and taller than the others, who absolutely knew that there fuming customers in the queue waiting to pay (he saw us) but seemed to be making a point of cracking jokes with young staff and deliberately ignoring us. Enjoying the scene for some bizarre reason perhaps. He definitely needs to go. What a broken and dysfunctional store. The worst customer service I have ever seen.

Saturday about 11am Wanted to buy a monitor and a laptop and a few odd items. Was walking around for 30 minutes looking at monitors and waiting for someone to ask a question. No one to be seen. The store was nearly empty. Compared with JB Warriewood who I visited straight after walking out of office works was way more pleasant and gave me all the info I needed and help. So they got over $1500 in sales. Won’t be going to office works again.

Even though it is widely known (and unfortunately accepted) in Mona Vale that this Officeworks and it’s staff are incompetent, I must defend them.

After yet another instance of waiting more than 45min for a simple print or collect which is a regular occurrence here, I rudely skipped the queue and asked the lady at the “purchase” counter if she could help some of the people waiting to print as there was no one buying but several waiting to print.

She informed me she wasn’t allowed to leave to desk and then stepped back and just continued to watch the queue of people get longer.

I asked if she could assist me with a simple photocopy as I didn’t need to take a spot in the line because the photocopy machines at officeworks do not accept phone payments but instead you need a physical print and copy card or a physical direct debit card.

Instead of helping or providing an alternative, her advice was that I change the settings on my phone….

It is clear that they are just extremely poorly trained and the series of systems Officeworks has in place to direct customer flow is failing.

It’s not acceptable to have people wait such long periods of time for simple print and copy.

It is a regular occurrence in this shop to have a line of more than 6 people waiting and if the average wait time of people was based on their salaries, no one would be getting any bonuses.

Strongly recommend Snap in Warriewood instead.
Dave is absolute professional and the wait time is less than 5 mins.

Just wanted to say I had a lovely experience with Tom with the fluffy beard. He helped me out figure out the right products that I needed and gave me a great deal. Thanks so much!
