Amazing dining experience at Crento! We had a selection of pastas and pizza and antipasto and it was all fantastic. The servings were generous, more so than we could finish! All of the dishes were delicious, we'll definitely go back

One of the best dishes I have ever tried. Their Marsala steak and gnocchi were so good. Very nice staff. I highly recommend it. The only minus is that the tables are too close to each other.

The food was delicious, servings generous and the service was wonderful. I mentioned it was the night before our wedding and we received dessert on the house which we really appreciated. Thank you so much for a great experience and delicious dinner.

I feel bad for my four stars, but I'm tired of ordering a Carbonara from "Italian" restaurants, with CREAM in the sauce.

The dish was still tasty, for a heavy creamy pasta, if that's what you're after. But it's not a traditional carbonara. Closer to a boscaiola.

I prefer my Carbonara light, peppery, with a dominant parmesan/yolk sauce.

Pasta was freshly made. Came out hot. Maybe 30min wait after ordering.
Also ordered the spaghetti bolognese, Alfredo pasta and garlic pizza - all delicious, fresh and hot!

Service was friendly and helpful.

What a NICE gesture! I will absolutely be back to Crento. Understandable that the western version of Carbonara tends to include cream. So catering to the higher preference is just good business.

2023 update. Crento changed owners in 2023 after falling into administration. Since then, they have been improving bit by bit and are still worth visiting. They have a reasonable kids menu, and improving wine list. Amazing pasta and good pizza. Love ordering take away from here as the portions are massive and last for days. It's very tasty authentic Italian food. If the new owners keep listening to customers and improving this could easily be the best Italian in the beaches this year.

We found the entree - Gorgonzola, honey and artichoke pizza to be delicious and the olives were yummy. The mains veal scallopini and pollo parmigiana were more standard but both were very good and a complete meal with veg and mash. The service was excellent though they could have served the olives immediately.
