In all my years of cattle farming (43)i have never come across troughs as robust and long lasting as the ones from hills. They have a wide range of sizes and designs to choose from, and the owner Craig Hills is very helpful when figuring out what will work best for your situation. I’ve been buying off hills for many years, and i will be continuing to do so for many more

Purchased a 6x3 meter concrete plunge pool from Craig unseen in good faith based on photos provided. He told us it would be ready to tile. I had 2x tilers call him to ask all the relevant questions - based on their conversation with him and knowing it came out of a mold, they felt assured the internal walls would be relatively straight and not require any internal rendering. This was not the case. The end walls were severly bowed and the other two walls were blown out as much as 57mm in some areas. We had to build concrete ledges internally in the worst areas to pack out the walls before we could even start rendering. Overall, we bought an overpriced concrete trough. Craig may be adept at constructing tanks and troughs but should stay out of the swimming pool environment if he cannot provide a pool with straight walls. He will not answer my messages and as a result I will be making a formal complaint to ACCC.

I bought a 40kl rain water tank from craig 10 years ago and at this stage can tell its going to long outlive me. Hills is my go to for any troughs and other livestock goods, and in addition to quality products the service and people (especially craig) are always very friendly and helpful.
