A glass splash back was ordered from Glass Processing Australia. After the install it became evident that the splash back was “green” and not the “Snow shine white” as ordered from the sample given by Glass Processing Australia.
The company (Glass Processing Australia) was contacted and a “Master Glazier” Darryn Malpuss (DLC Group) came to my house with 2 additional “Snow shine White” Samples. These samples and my “original” sample was compared to my splash back. It was very evident that the colour of my splash back did not match the 3 samples onsite. 1 Sample was my original sample provided by the installer and subsequently made me choose the colour (Snow shine) for my splash back, the other 2 samples was brought by the Expert Darryn Malpuss. He actually works for the company in question. I immediately had concerns that it would be a conflict of interest if the Master Glazier investigating my case is on the payroll of the company he is investigating. Darren Malpuss then saw the obvious when comparing his samples against my splash back, that it is completely and obviously different. He then told me he will submit a report about his findings and left me his bussiness card. The report came out 4 days later and in the report it stated that the company is going to evaluate the manufacturing and painting of the splash back process and get back to me when this is completed. I then called the Expert Darryn Malpuss (who gave me his business card) and asked if they will be putting any manufacturing and delivery of splash backs on hold until the testing was completed. As they might get more complications or “off colour’ splash backs manufactured during this time. Darryn refused to answer and was clearly uncomfortable answering basic questions. His whole professional attitude changed and could not answer basic common sense questions on the phone and then put the phone down in my ear and blocked me from any further communication. What I did manage to find out before he put the phone down was the testing would take 2 weeks. When I asked what does the testing have to do with my splash back being green and not white….that is where the call ended.
2 Weeks later I received an email that Glass Processing Australia produced a “Master” sample and taped the edges black of this “Expert 2 week manufactured and painted Snow sheen New Sample”. They compared in the factory this new manufactured taped sample with the old samples that the Master Glazier Darryn Malpuss from DLC Group had at my house 3 weeks prior and they are exactly the same. So due to them proving their manufacturing and painting process is a match with their sample I have no claim.
I found this level of incompetence absolutely astounding. Especially from these so called experts and highly specialized and respected people. I said to them that surely you need to compare the “New manufactured sample” with my splash back and not your own samples The issue was always that my splash back never matched the samples Not that a newly manufactured splash back sample does not match an old sample Absolutely incredible. My installer and I invited Darryn Malpuss and Dave Lush from Glass Processing Australia to attend my house so we can match the newly manufactured sample with my splash back. They both declined and noted that they have a disclaimer on the back of their samples that states:
“This sample is a representation only of colour, opacity, finish and performance. Slight variations may occur commercial manufacture. Low iron”
So because of this disclaimer I have no claim as when they tape it with black tape it matches there previous samples and never attended my house with the new sample. Also if you install a “green” not black taped splash back you have no claim or foot to stand on because of above disclaimer. I was also notified that the Expert Master Glazier Darryn Malpuss and Dave Lush and the Boss of the company have saved my mobile number in their respective mobile phones and will not answer my calls.
Appalling service and ridiculous explanations from the so called “Experts”

Dale and the team at Glass Processing Australia are 'can do' people. We regularly have urgent replacement glass for critical infrastructure works and GPA always delivers. Definitely the most helpful and friendly dispatch I've ever turned up to when collecting glass. Thanks again.

We needed a new shower screen, and sliding wardrobe doors for 2 rooms. I went into the showroom where the young lady was very helpful showing me what our options were. I then emailed through the measurements and our preferences. They gave me an estimate and organised a time for someone to come out and measure properly. The chap who came out was punctual, polite and helpful, explaining options for minor issues we had.
They then sent through the final quote, we paid the deposit, and we arranged a date for delivery and installation. We paid the balance online the night before delivery. The two installers arrived on time and had it everything installed in next to no time.
The only negative is that the silicone on the shower screen fitting is a little rough, and there were small sharp aluminium filings left on the floor - a concern if our dog got them in a foot. Nevertheless, still worth a five star rating.
The entire process was about two and half weeks.
Good price and service, and very happy with the new look.
Highly recommend.

Best Glass Place around!

Got a custom piece of glass for the top of my Keezer a couple of years back, and they were so friendly and helpful unlike their competitors near the wanneroo markets.
