Oh, Ziggy... There will come a day when I finally muster up the courage to talk to you in person. It's just... Oh, what am I saying? I love you, Ziggy. You've been on my mind for the last couple of weeks. I just couldn't stop thinking about you! The way you treat your fellow students with care and kindness. I don't want to sound like a creep, but I admire your personality, and I can say that you are the only one for me.

My youngest son is on the spectrum, diagnosed with Asperger’s at aged six when we lived i the Netherlands, he does not have an Australian diagnosis.
My son got bullied in year 12 and I had to have so many meetings to get them to address it. In one meeting the Associate Principal sat in and was in my son’s face trying to force him to make eye contact with her. It was appalling behaviour from a so called educator who should have known better than to try and force eye contact with a child who has autism.
The school asked me to withdraw my son from school rather than address his anxiety levels and the bullying he was enduring. I will say that it did finally get addressed but took a lot of pushing from us.
Just before he left, we were informed that he had failed his WACE because he had plagiarized from another child. When I tried to explain to the head of department that the piece of work in question was handed in some months earlier and he had been asked to do it again as there seemed to be no record of him handing it in, I was called a liar. We appealed as we had the data on the memory stick it had been handed in on. It turned out that the student he had copied from was himself! He got his WACE but only because we questioned the teachers.
Lastly, my other son attended the school and a teacher tried to confiscate his insulin pump believing it to be a game.
They seem to be incapable of passing information around regarding the children’s illnesses and learning needs.

Teachers don’t even realise when the students have vapes, so many students have been vaping and the teachers do not even notice! I would also like to say a student go yelled at because his school shorts were in the wash so he wore his PE shorts and then he got yelled at in-front of everybody. No one even bothers to clean the school tables so there is so much gum, and the teachers don’t even realise that students have gum. I may also add that there is a teacher called Miss Evans who is very strict, she yells at every student who enters the class as soon as the bell goes, she also says “IT’S YES MISSSS” every year seven kid who has her will agree with me that she is scary and strict and gives out detentions whenever she can

Little to no guidance/support to students in regards to career pathway if they have no idea what they want to do when they leave school. Loads of emails sent out about different options but no one on one support.

i believe that this school needs heaps of improvements im a student here and there is NO bullying support at all!!!!!!! also barely any teachers showing passion in teaching except a few. that canteen prices are outrageous but anyway its ok i guess.

Very happy at the school. Amazing communication through the use of Connect and I can always see how my child is doing in every subject. The specialist programmes are incredible, especially the Marine Studies and SEAC. Would highly recommend the school.
