It’s hard to write a review that expresses all my emotions. After a long time, it was as if I was back in my mother’s kitchen stuffing my face with all the delicious goodies that she heaped on my plate. The food reminded me of her. I don’t know what else I can say.
For the un-initiated, this restaurant serves cuisine from Kerala, a small South Indian state. And it does so unapologetically, there is no changing the flavours to suit the western palate, it’s the real deal, genuine and incredible!

Had such a wonderful experience at this lovely small family-run Malayalam Indian restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious and authentic, but what really made it special was the warm and friendly atmosphere. Even though we arrived after closing, they graciously let us in and treated us like family.

The whole family is so welcoming! Chanju, their son, was super friendly, and both the Uncle and Aasha Aunty took the time to chat with us and make us feel at home. It’s not just a meal here; it’s an experience filled with amazing food and genuine hospitality. Highly recommend checking it out!

I have been there twice and the food was awesome, One of the best meals you can get. You get home style but delicious food at reasonable price which is hard to beat. The owner will look after you if you’re new to the regional cuisine they offer. Curries are freshly made everyday, and the biryani is their specialty. We will def be back.

The best tasting Kerala food in Perth. Sampath and Asha were simply great in accomodating our little group over the weekend. If you are planning on a get together of between 15-20 people and want to try a different cuisine from India, you have to try Asha's Kitchen. They also do catering and I for sure will be using them in the future.

Food was great and the service was fantastic. Most friendly staff I have ever seen. His recommendation was great and I loved each and every dish that was served to us. We had meal combo with fish, chicken briyani, rice with 3 curry + cabbage side dish + 2 mango lasi and all of them were just perfect. The price was very affordable for the quality of food and I'd say quantity is enough for 3 or 4 people. We did take away for the left overs and additionally purchased 2 mango lasi. Loved the experience. Highly recommend this place. We were digging into the food and forgot to take a photo🤣

Amazing food and service. We had the non veg set, chicken briyani and Fish fry. Everything was beautifully cooked and fresh and taste authentic! it was our first time at this restaurant and Kerala cuisine is new to us, the owner and waiter were really lovely and explained each dish. We will be back again! 😊😊

So, in Asha’s kitchen, its a home for Malayalees! Recommended that all people who are from kerala come here. The food; the only dishes they serve are Veg Rice Set, Non-Veg Rice Set and Biriyani. However, the ‘aviyal’ was unfortunately spoilt. For the Biriyani, it was good! Top notch! We tried the fish fry, it was amazing. The person mentioned people come from other states in WA to try it! Service; it was good but it was a bit slow I would say. Atmosphere; filled with indians, I reckon they may need more seating space. Other than that its all good!
