We always love enjoy shopping at Freedom. Went to the store on last Friday, Pep was absolutely gorgeous, made us feel comfortable. We were very happy with our purchase and offers that were offered.
We recently also submitted our broken chair, the warranty claim process is very easy to do online.

Ordered a set of Turkish Towels in their online store in November for Christmas. They never arrived. I followed up with them in January and they were never in stock and they never bothered to tell me. Refund still not received despite a complaint and multiple follow up calls. One of the worst customer service experiences of my life I will not be shopping with Freedom again.

All I wanted was to call the store to talk to someone. Have to call an 02 number then go through all the messages as to what number to push. Finally get to speak to someone on the 02 number which is not even in our state. Even then they want the third degree before I can be put through to the store. For goodness sake how hard is to get the store a phone number for us to call direct without all the bullshit. Definitely won’t shop here as this is totally off putting and heaven forbid if ww brought something and then had a problem. Would be able to talk to the pope quicker!!!

Turned up last week to look at outdoor furniture, was greeted by a sales woman as soon as we walked through the door. We mentioned we were just looking for now and she asked what we were after. She showed us a few options and continued to mention about greeting people as they arrive as some people expect it and others don't like it. We gave several indications we wanted to just have a wander around but these fell on deaf ears. There was a flash sale on with 25% off, we asked if this was ontop on the already shown sales price. She said yes. We asked about a certain lounge and what the price would be, she proceeded to take her phone out to calculate the cost. We decided on 2 sunlounges. When given the quote, we asked about the additional 25% and was told, no that's the final price, it's not an extra 25%. We then asked if they were in stock as we only wanted them if they were available for pick up. She said yes. We went ahead with the payment as well as purchasing a candle off the floor in the same transaction. AFTER payment we were told they were at the warehouse, not at the showroom and it takes up to 48 hours for the warehouse to receive the order. Do they walk the orders there?! We didn't receive a call to arrange pick up so on the Monday, called the warehouse to be told, sorry there is an issue with your order, call the showroom. Called the showroom only to be stuck with the most insufferable sales woman who doesn't stop talking enough to let the customer speak and then when you do speak, she cuts you off and talks over you. (We have dealt with her in store previously and walk the other way if she comes close to us) was told the sale didn't go through to the warehouse because we bought a candle And that we couldn't do pick up for several days. Gave up and asked for a refund. Had to go into the store to process the refund and fortunately the gentleman who served me was lovely and the transaction was seamless. Apart from this one gentleman, the customer service is ridiculous. The fact she didn't tell us about pick up until after payment, not being clear about the sale price and then just totally stuffing up the order, not to mention the rude woman who speaks at you in an attempt to intimate you into a sale, we won't be returning. Shame because we have some really nice pieces from Freedom but just cannot handle the sales staff and lack of support.

Just had the loveliest experience at freedom myaree, we went in searching for sheer curtains with not much idea of what we were needing. We were helped by the lovely Pep S and she explained everything in detail and got us everything we needed. She took the time to show us the boucle curtains at the entrance and we are so thankful she did! What a superstar 🫶🏼

The Melville store staff do not greet or acknowledge. There was a saleslady in a jacket walking around in an all black suit but no greeting acknowledgment or checking in about needs even though the store was fairly empty. SO much room for improvement for engagement.

Freedom took 5 months following purchase to deliver a couch, despite sales staff saying it would be 3 - 4 months. Less than 4 weeks notice was given of delays. Once delivered, the couch was found (by the delivery team) to have incorrect components. Be aware that the store takes no responsibility (and is not empowered to assist) in this situation and you are forced to submit a warranty claim. It has been two weeks and there has been no meaningful progress on this claim (no doubt it is up to the client to push and push) and who knows how long we will need to wait until the correct parts are delivered. Consider other suppliers and query their after sales support.

Edit: The formal response below to follow the online form (with no option to speak to anyone) and is further illustration of why I have delivered a 1 star rating. I have to clarify that the score should be reflective of Freedom Head Office and corporate management, not the personnel trying to make the best of this in the store. I spoke at length to two staff today at Myaree who did offer to help as best they could to escalate our existing claim. This is much appreciated, indicates good intention from the store itself and has allowed me to add an extra star.

Closing: To the store's credit, their prompt to the warranty team resulted in a repair person coming over and a. overcoming the installation issue the delivery person had and b. fixing a fault in one of the parts. Because this review reflects on the store more than the company, I've raised my rating to 3 stars. I'd rate the store personnel higher than that

I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life - the staff went out of their way to be rude or ignore me. This store has either bad management, staff who hate their jobs, or a combination of both.
