Such a lost opportunity. Went in excited to buys some local cheese but was very disappointed.
Greeted by an elderly gentleman who just rattled off a generic spiel about the cheeses. Was offered a tasting but one tiny cube of cheese on a stick - no explanation of the cheese or perhaps a few different cheeses to try or perhaps a cracker to give it some context
The shop is so disappointing , just a few old fridges , could have been a real experience with a nice shop and a employee who had a real interest in being there
My other gripe is the packaging, all the cheeses are just vacuum packed in clear plastic - sure that might be good for the cheese, but we buy with our eyes, why not a nice wrapping and a decent logo, would really enhance the product

Finally the price was ridiculous for the product and the experience $16.50 for 150g. That’s $110 per kg, you can get a wonderful top shelf French blue for $55 per kg

My summary is that the business has lost its interest in its product and its customers . Go to a specialist cheese shop or even Harris Farm Market you will get a much better cheese, an someone who really cares and knows about cheese

Bollito Pasta has moved out of the Old Wyong Milk Factory, which, despite a thriving cafe, had a whiff of faded tourist attraction about it. I picked up pasta instead at their West Gosford store, however I did pick up a slightly pricy sapphire blue cheese ($16.50/150grams) from Little Creek at this old milk factory store. They happily give out free samples wearing a mask and gloves, but only of their own cheeses, not for example, the hard goat milk cheese you can see in the fridge.

Some great cheeses on offer, after tasting a variety we settled on the bacon, and aged Cheddar's, any more and we wouldn't get them home unfortunately because there were plenty more we'd have liked to take!

Saw an advert for the Milk Factory( a small business enterprise location) where the Little Creek Cheese is based. Bought a dry gin cheese and a peppercorn cheese. Quint place. Someone else commented on " the person at the front counter didn't have good customer service skills, etc, heaps more improvements needed," and I would agree. Informative but crotchety. Visited on a Monday..sleepyhollow. Apparently, busy at weekends, BBQ area, kids play areas. Lots of scope here, but it seems missed opportunities

Stopped off here on our way back to Sydney and as we love cheese, we’re so excited. We bought quite a lot of different cheeses but unfortunately when I got back to Sydney and opened my halloumi, it was a week past it’s best before date. I bought it on the 27th and it went off on the 23rd. Not sure why the best before dates aren’t being checked and thrown out, very disappointing.

I couldn't even buy cheese here if I wanted to, I tried to initiate an interaction with the older gent behind the counter, it would have been more pleasant running into the wall face first.

I asked what they had at the moment, he rattled off the list I could plainly see, I followed up with what his favourite would be then, he countered with it all depends on what's left over at the end of the day.

I did try a very small piece of their cheddar which was offered when another group were in the shop. It tasted ok, not very sharp, I think there was also a hint of mould on the back palate, not really to my liking.

It was awkward, I left.

I will strike this one down to dodging a bullet for how much they were charging.
