I've officially become a FAN OF GROUCH&CO! I tried the SOE three-way today, and the espresso was exceptional. Ethiopia is always my first choice. They serve sparkling water for dine-in, which was a nice touch. I also bought the Sparky blend last week, and I absolutely luv it, perfectly balanced with a mouthful of chocolate and smooth sweetness. You can really tell that they take specialty coffee seriously by these details💗

We were in the area and decided to check out the coffee range offered by G&CCR and were not disappointed. Friendly helpful service and the barista had excellent product knowledge. The range of beans was brilliant, and they also stock a great range of coffee related products and accessories is good without becoming overwhelming. Our only complaint was we had just finished a coffee elsewhere, and realised we should have bought it from here! Our bad! We'll be back for more beans and a fresh brew too.

Have been here a number of times most occasions my wife got the coffee’s. It is always busy here so make sure you allow enough time.
Today was my turn to get the coffee and I was surprised by how expensive it is $7 for a flat white is not cheap.
The coffee was not great but was also not bad either.

Worth a drive just to get a cuppa here. Yes, even if you live as far as Mandurah. The coffee isn't one of those weak, milky stuff they pass for coffee these days in town. It's proper deep, fruity and the right hit of acidity. Can't tell who's the grouch here either, the service was very ungrouchy.

Stellar quality coffee and probably the only cafe that offers the darkest roast in Perth - if you appreciate good real coffee with that punch!
Good responsive customer service with staff that have engaging welcome personalities.
One suggestion that I could offer, is for Grouch to have QR scan codes at the tables as it would free up staff especially during busy periods and customers don’t have to wait for staff (who could be busy with other duties) to come and take their orders.
Otherwise, I can’t recommend it enough.

Review said that even if you live in Mandurah that the coffee was worth the drive - and that was no exaggeration. The best coffee I have had and their breakfast sandwich is also on par. The service is so friendly and we loved the sparkling water they serve on the house is such a welcome and lovely touch.

The Home Espresso Tutorial with Charlotte was an unbelievably informative experience.

The tutorial should be compulsory for anyone buying an espresso machine for home as it unlocks the full potential of an often pricey piece of equipment.

We brought our new, mysterious appliance in for Charlotte to meticulously educate us on each component and experiment with the dose, yeild, and extraction time. See! We now talk barista.

The tutorial was affordable and a great experience for my partner and I to share in a comfortable, private setting.
