***Beware of Fine Entry Marine and there Estimates***
They stung us for job that was estimated to be $63K and instead we got a bill for $110K

How? Well what they do is give formal "Estimate", not a fixed "Quote" (there is a difference). If you approve the work to get done on the estimate, they can add what they like onto the costs, though they are suppose to seek approval for additional works/cost and will say they have done, but with not written evidence it is your words against theirs.

If you get a formal quote which you agree too, they need to get written approval for any additional costs and this is the best way, but they will probably still overcharge, so maybe seek other quotes as well to hold them accountable.

We also found that they overcharged for work, or charge for incomplete work. We are still repairing work that was charged but not completed or done properly and also had many jobs that we nearly 3 times the amount of time it should have taken.....we know this as we had to get a quote to redo something they billed us.

Anyway please read your contract carefully. We are not the only clients that have been stung, we know of 3 other cases that were settled out of court like ours.
