Had quote done to install 4 metre wide gate (2 x 2 metre sections), 1.8 metre high with same colourbond aluminium fencing panels as rest of yard. Quote came back at over $5000, went to a fencing business in Port Kennedy and only cost $2400 fully installed though I did have to source and supply the aluminium fence panelling.

After a lot of research Gate Boys was chosen to fabricate our 6 metre electric sliding gate and infills for our fencing.
We have completed extensive property renovations and have to say that Gate Boys were the only trade that we did not have issues with.
They were extremely helpful in assessing and delivering to our requirements and more importantly arrived on the day and time that they specified.
From a warranty perspective, we recently had a small issue that required the attendance of a technician. Whilst the gate is still under a 2 year warranty, the technician was extremely helpful and explained things as he went.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Gate Boys to anyone.

excellent services and would highly recommend Brett and the team at Gateboys. We commissioned a complicated bi-fold gate of which many companies would not do and very few demonstrated a understanding of what needed to be done to successfully complete the job.

We were impressed from day 1 through to almost 1 month after completion, where they attended to minor adjustments to ensure the gate remained in perfect operation. Would recommend Gateboys to anyone looking for a well done project and attentive customer service.

Not the cheapest quote however went with as family business.
$12K to which paid half 6months prior to installation.
Ask for quote to be fully inclusive and went with there sparky for cohesive job.
An additional cost off $2K plus arrived on completion

Unfortunately, we have not had a great experience and have been left disappointed. Issues included delays due to incorrect laser cut pattern; gate being made too big with no allowance for bolts; gate installed with the closing latch put on incorrect side; required bolts for installation not available which needed replacement. Overall, not a good experience, with delays and issues.

I filled out an online form for a quote & heard nothing for a week , so I called them . They asked for photos which I sent . Have just had an email saying due to staff shortages they won’t be able to help ! Total waste of time .Was a straightforward job .
