Wonderful, peaceful and fantastic host. Shambhala Guesthouse is a lovely place to base yourself in the southwest. Ruth was a delightful host. And the continental breakfast was filling. I would highly recommend staying here. The room was generous in size, and immaculately clean.

We spent a couple of nights at this cute B&B and really enjoyed it. The highlights are the views and the homemade bread for breakfast. The room was nice and large and well appointed with an onsite bathroom with a shower.
The only downside is that it's on the top of a hill and the driveway is too steep and crumbling to walk so you are forced to drive to do anything off property.

Brilliant B&B. Had a wonderful stay. The owners were very attentive with a drink on arrival and fresh home made produce for breakfast.

We've stayed here before, and each time it's just great. We stayed in July this year to enjoy some winter weather - it was wonderful. There's a fire in the main sitting room which the owners keep going with real logs, and the views down into the valleys with mist in the morning are beautiful. Also, this time there were dinners offered, and these were delicious. It was nice not to have to go out for dinner if you didn't feel like it. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place, exceptional scenic views and great hospitality from the Rory&Ruth family. Thank you Nana for your kindness, having a bowl of spaghetti bolognaise is just what l needed that day. A home away from home! Highly recommended!

A slice of paradise made even more special by our kind and generous hosts. A picturesque, serene setting with very comfortable amenities and thoughtful attention to details. Waking up to beautiful birdsong, looking out at an ever changing view while standing by a welcoming, cosy fire. Freshly baked bread every morning with a varied selection of local preserves. Convivial interactions with hosts and other guests. We stayed for 6 nights, did not want to leave. Perfect place to rest and relax. Thank you Ruth, Rory and Heather. We look forward to our next visit!

Spent two wonderful nights at a beautiful resort. Hosts Rory and Ruth were so welcoming. The room was spotless and had everything I needed. Bed was very comfortable. Cooked breakfast was delicious and cooked to my liking - size was more than ample. Went there for a rest and couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. Beautiful dining room and lounge - lovely to relax in. Thank you very much Rory and Ruth.

Amazing place to stay in a beautiful Bridgetown hills. The Guesthouse is exceptionally clean, with beautiful views and surrounding grounds; and quality furnishings. Bridgetown town center is 5 minutes away. Rory is a very welcoming host. Cooked meals are delicious - we felt like part of the family. We'll be back!
