Called up a week before i came in to the shop and asked if im able to drop my block the following week and the guy i spoke to said yea thats fine, got there the following week with my block and once i got there this old guy told me he cant do it and he doesnt know anything about it.

when i spoke to the guy on the phone, i said that its been to another machine shop and i just want to make sure the work was done, guy said yeah that fine. and when i got to west coast cylinder i was just brushed away, didnt even look at the block.

Stay away from these people if you can. USELESS!

I had a head pressure tested and surfaced and it was a perfect job.
Had been to "other" cylinder head repairers and got a tale of woe about needing to buy a new head at a hellish price without even wanting to do any testing.
The head is now back on the engine and it is running perfect
