My wife and I drove down from Hedland to buy a couple of bikes while taking a friends mum to chemo. Mick went above and beyond to sort us out and even let me leave the bikes there until I was ready to pick them up after hours. Keep up the good work Mick, we will definitely be back!

Finally a person in a bike shop that just doesn’t want to pull the money out of my pocket like others. My concern was easily diagnosed and fixed with minimum charge. I love the 4 hours a day concept but does not fit well with my work schedule.

Called ahead to Scott cycles enquiring about purchasing a Gripsport bike rack, Mick was very knowledgeable and helpful I arrived a week later to look at the rack and after talking to Mick at length we purchased the product, he even built it for me ready to pick up after having some work done on the caravan to accommodate it.
Can’t rate this guy highly enough, if you need anything bike related make sure you see Scott cycles Karratha FANTASTIC people

Nothing beats a great relationship with your local bike store.
The only thing better than riding is chatting with a fellow rider about riding.
Mechanical service for my e-bike handled professionally and provided same day - almost same hour service.
Great advice, informed by local conditions, about how to care for my bike.
Fantastic range of consumables and spare parts. Informative and happy to discuss options. No hard sell. Less shipping time and hassles compared to buying on line. Price competitive, and for some items cheaper, if your consider shipping costs.
Latest purchase with Scott Cycles was my new GripSport GSA2+ bike carrier. Best ever! Great product made in Australia. Scott Cycles had it in stock. This beats the (current) 6-8 week back order from the manufacturer and the (currently) 4 weeks (and growing) shipping delays from the East Coast. Before you next buy on line give Scott Cycles a try!

Being a new FIFO to Karratha I noticed many people rode mountain bikes for recreation and was surprised by the number of tracks available both off road and around the town. After visiting Scott Cycles many times with a friend I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff ad their willingness to help out, without being pressured to buy. This courtesy and attitude gave me confidence to buy here. I also knew the town needed business support after the impact of Cyclone Damian. I decided to buy a bike and was given great advice on which type. I witnessed great after sales support and I know if I have any problems they will help out without hesitation. So if you're new in town and need reassurance buying a new bike, you will get it at Scott Cycles. I am not sure how their prices fare compared to Perth / online etc but Karratha is in the middle of nowhere and you have to factor in freight etc but given this it's hard to put a price on good customer service. Oh, they also threw in a few goodies free of charge 🙂 Highly recommend.

After selling me a bike I asked for a trailer to suit the bike, they recommended and sold me one, I could have bought the same trailer for half the price in Perth or online but I wanted to support my local business, then the brakes jammed on the bike so I took it back to them, they told me it was a common problem with the bike and they knew about the problem they then said it can be repaired with new brakes, when I questioned this they only then stated it would be repaired under warranty, then I received a call from them saying the rear axle bolt was stripped and was caused by the trailer, I wouldn't be able to use the trailer any more, then they tried to charge me for the new bolt, it was fine when I took the bike in, so now I'm stuck with an expensive trailer that can't be used, and I can't take the bike back to that store ever again as I have no trust in them.. extremely Poor customer service
