Very disappointing customer service experience

Today, my partner and I encountered a frustrating experience while purchasing a product at this store. The product we selected was ticketed at $53, but it scanned at $79.50. After completing our purchase, we asked the customer service representative to verify the price, as we believed it to be lower based on the ticket in the aisle.

When she accompanied us to the product’s location, we found an incorrect ticket displayed beneath the item, and no signage in the garden section indicated the correct $79.50 price. She offered to check with the manager about honoring the lower ticketed price. However, when she returned, she informed us that they could not match the ticketed price because they “couldn’t guarantee that we hadn’t moved the ticket or the product.” This insinuation made us feel as though we were being unfairly accused of attempting to manipulate the pricing—a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience as genuine customers.

Though she eventually offered a refund, it was clear the process was not welcomed, and we left feeling disheartened and disappointed.

Customer Rights Note: Under Australian Consumer Law, customers have the right to pay the lower displayed price when a pricing discrepancy occurs. We felt this store did not acknowledge or honor this principle, which is in place to ensure fair treatment of consumers.

Think the lady’s name was Tara what a champ , such a huge help , friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble .
We need more people like this in retail .
Shop had everything I needed . Thanks again for making me feel like nothing was a problem.She definitely deserves some donuts and a coffe .

Much better than Home in town but seem to have lots of popular sizes and styles of things out of stock for a long time, so not really that good.
My fav are the rusty pliers for sale, about sums it up really.

2nd Weber from this store in 6 months because the 1st Weber blew a leak on the gas inlet hose. Store has no replacement hoses? Spent another $500 and now the gas bottle connection is the wrong thread and we were told to wait until BOC replaces their gas bottles in town for F@$k Sake come on Bunnings or anyone who knows outdoor living, open up in Karratha. These people are making a profit and don't care for quality.

The staff are not exactly jumping out of their skin to help out. I spent 20 minutes wandering around the store passing the same assistants several times before I finally thought I’d try the front counter. Then I asked about handsaws and was abruptly told that if they had any they’d be down there (pointing in a general direction). Seems to be staffed by the same company who filled Twitter with a whole of heap people who didn’t realise that having a job requires one very important element, work.

Good shop we were able to buy some small plastic steps for our caravan as I'm too short to reach the top cupboards. We also needed a small cooler bag. Staff was very helpful.

Saturday 17th September 0909h you are closed whereas your opening hours state that you are open on Saturdays from 0800h to1300h. If hours have changed please update your google profile and online website. Only drawback I've found so far and only way of communicating with you.
