Having never driver a synchromesh HR truck, after 2 training sessions, I felt ready for the assessment. Justin was a great instructor and provided very useful tips and techniques to increase my confidence. I passed the assessment and have my HR-B license. The team down at Desert to Coast were fantastic throughout the whole process. The front office staff and trainers were friendly, supportive and deliver an excellent program. My experience with trainer and assessor Matt exceeded my expectations. Matt is a great bloke that was very knowledgeable and calm; he made for a brilliant trainer. In my experience, desert to coast is a no brainer for your HR license here in Karratha.

I completed my HR License and Cali is a legend.
To my surprise, he's actually human. Unlike the majority of instructors, that strangely tend to have a natural state of hatred and anger for everything, but love listening to themselves correcting you for breathing the wrong way, this hero is actually different and puts himself into your position and knows which words/advices you need.
He understands that foreigners may not understand English accents very well when it's very loud or when you talk without facing the person. Cali is very clear with his commands/instructions.
Very reasonable, calm, friendly and smart instructor. During the test he only speaks when it's necessary, so you can keep your focus on driving. He doesn't push the test unnecessarily into the eternal future, like most others do to squeeze your money out. If you are ready for the test, he won't hesitate to do it. Straight forward.

I never wrote a review before, but this gentleman truly deserves it.
