I just had the chance to open the 2014 Picardy Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc blend. I have to admit I normally gravitate toward their fabulous pinot, but this wine is also fabulous. I understand the winery is open for cellar door for only a few more weeks this year -- it definitely warrants a stop to stock up!

What a beautiful place ! I m French and we were traveling south of Perth with my wife to explore a bit new places and to visit friends.. Picardy is unique, as unique as the little paradises that you can find hidden in the middle of “Bourgogne” region, also with a touch of Italy for the architecture of the house of the owner. They don’t only have one of the best wine I ever tasted in Australia (their pinot is extremely well made), they also understand soil, agriculture and terroir. You immediately feel dedication and professionalism. Dan knows better wine than most of my fellow citizen. We had a wonderful time discovering the property and the wines. Congratulations to Dan and his family for the hard job and dedication.
