This is a nice eatery along Brockman Street in Pemberton. Stopped here on our way to Margaret River from Albany and had a really nice lunch. Opening hours are 8am to 2.30pm daily. Menu features a nice range of savoury cafe dishes along with a few sweet bites. Portion sizes just fine, prices reasonable while service was friendly and timely.

On the occasion we tried their House Made Falafel plate which came with roasted cauliflower, hummus flatbread with couscous. This was a surprisingly good healthy dish. Sausage Roll served was also very nice, flaky outside, succulent and flavourful on the inside. This was a really good lunch, one we would gladly repeat if looking for a lunch stop while driving through Pemberton again in the future.

This place has incredible atmosphere, cosy, welcoming and to be honest in a fair competition with some of the best cafes in Perth! I loved the coffee so much but more so I loved the Chamomile cake which I never have had it before and now I have to search for it in Perth! The staff were so friendly and helpful and the cafe had a great vibe. At the back of the cafe there is a lovely couch set with tasteful lighting that you don’t want to leave the place. Wild at Heart team well done! You truly raised the standard of the cafe’s experience by order of magnitude.

Had lunch here with my partner, and it was fantastic!

I ordered the falafel platter, and she ordered the lamb burger. I was very impressed by the flavour and presentation of the falafel dish. I would definitely recommend it and order again.

My partner loved her lamb burger and would order again as well.

We both indulged in some post-lunch gelato, which was incredible as well. We each ordered coconut mango and mint chocolate chip in cups and would go back just for the gelato....

They also offer plenty of local artisan goods such as honey, bread, preserves, aged maple syrup, and more.

I highly recommend a visit!

The staff here are lovely and the atmosphere is great.
We ordered avo on toast, eggs benny with pulled pork, a brownie to share and two drinks. The drinks were great, the brownie was delicious however, our overall critique is the food serving was disappointing for the price. The eggs benny was super yum, but the serving was a little small. The avo on toast is a special, and was a little plain. The presentation was great but made it hard to eat, really there should have been more than one piece of sourdough for how much avo there was, and there should have been more cheese, but it was good.

We nearly walked past this place but so glad we didn't. We had an almond mocha which was lovely and cinnamony but not too sweet (also got a very tasty little homemade marshmallow and I don't even like marshmallows), chicken and cheese toasted sandwich (toast was herby and it had a lot of tasty gooey cheese), we also had a cookie which was thick and amazing and had a huge dollop of nutella in the middle. Our brownie was one of the best I've ever had. It was soft, nutty with thick chocolate chips, but again, not too sweet. The unique, original mocha made the 2 hour detour worthwhile.

Delicious food in a super beautiful spot. Have done well to balance the old school town feeling with modern feel.
Sourdough was delish. Was only 1 piece of toast, so could do with another considering the price. Overall lovely, best spot in town I’d guess.
