Very pleased to share the beautiful balustrade re-created by Tim to match the style and grace of a mid century home. The inclusion of the privacy “wave” screen panel designed by Tim is a true work of art, melding with the beautiful coastline. This demonstrates Tim’s exceptional talent and meticulous attention to detail which included hand bending every rail and beautiful welding at the joins. Tim is an excellent communicator and very informative about the design and construction process, and materials used, as the balustrade will be up against the wild weather the Coffs Coast is well known for! I contacted Tim from Custom Fabrications to discuss a custom step-light cover design, to be cut from 6 mm thick metal.

I was extremely impressed at Tim's prompt responses and professional, helpful communication (rarely have I had this level of service from trades in our local area). Tim's communication is always prompt, courteous and professional.

Tim also worked with me to achieve a design that would be suitable for a step-light cover, strong enough to cater to a range of foot traffic etc.

Tim Turned My Dream into a Reality

Yes he is that good!

His workmanship is superb, but it's the whole package that is the reason you should use his services. Our table is the first one like it he has made. Tim listened to what I wanted to achieve and never made me feel like I was asking for too much, or even being the slightest bit unreasonable. Feeling like I was being unreasonable, when asking people to quote for work for renovating our home, has been par the course for me for the last 18 months.

It seems to me like Tim enjoys his work. He is very keen to give his customers what they want, but knows exactly what he can do and he does it well. He never told me that anything couldn't be done, he made sure it happened. He kept my informed throughout the project with emails and photos. He understood the details as I described them and used his expertise to achieve the result I needed. Because the project was quite involved, he made sure to check with me, not only to let me know how he was going to do something, but to make sure I was happy with what he intended to do. I never felt annoyed by being asked and I always felt that he knew what he was doing. He answered all my questions and took time to explain things. He also adapted quickly to different ideas, or ways of doing things, and made me feel comfortable dealing with him. My overall experience was excellent.

Over the past 8 years or so I have had Tim make me some bespoke projects including an in-ground cellar door which he designed and built while I was away o/s, an aluminium pool cover frame, and lately a beautiful pair of double gates. His work really is top quality. He has a lot of experience in his trade, is full of ideas and has gone out of his way to help me with my projects. 100% trustworthy and reliable, I just wouldn't go anywhere else and have no hesitation recommending him.

Tim recently repaired a metal statue for us that had been damaged during shipment - the statue had been broken into two pieces - Tim took the time to understand the importance of the item to us and explained to us the issues he might have with completing the repair - to say that we were very impressed with the result of Tim’s repair was an understatement - the workmanship was excellent and Tim had the statue ready for us to collect earlier than he had indicated which was very much appreciated. Needed some Mud Guards fabricated for my 2022 Hilux after the previous plastic ones were cracked due to towing a trailer.
