Went & purchased Blueline Seafood Fishfingers (1kg) from Woolworths as I couldn't get my usual Birdseye brand. I just tried the Blueline fishfingers; after 1 fishfinger I couldn't stomach anymore. They are disgusting. The magpies are going to have a feast with the rest. Whatever fish is used it is disgusting & it didn't taste like Pollock or Whiting. Can't expect too much quality from a Hong Kong owned company.

Our one and only time we purchased KB'sTempura battered whiting, just yuk, the batter was thick, sticky, chewy and most of the weight was this awful batter. Couldn't taste the tiny bits of fish at all. I usually buy another brand with proper tempura thin batter, but gave this a go, never again.

Bought their smoked yellowtailed kingfish & was really looking forward to eating it. I was extremely disappointed. It was very dry & hard, not very nice to eat, will not be buying this again, wouldn't even recommend it to anyone.

Grabbed a pack of frozen prawns (Just Caught Brand) at Woolies when in a hurry. They were nice and pink and white so presumed they were cooked prawns. When I went to open them I realised it said Australian Caught Raw Prawns. They didn't look raw to me so I thought maybe they were mislabeled. Rang the company and left a message to ring me, no-one bothered getting back to me. Left an on-line message, still no response. Didn't want to take any chances so I followed the cooking instructions. They were like leather after cooking. Still waiting for an answer before I throw the rest in the compost.

I'm a big fan of their prawn gyoza which is manufactured in Vietnam but I tried the chicken gyoza (made in Australia) from Coles and was very disappointed. The product was very bland and the gyoza wrap was still very dry after steaming for over 18mn. It is like eating cardboard wrap with soft bland meat inside. I would not recommend it as it is not edible.

I wrote the review below about a month ago. I'm still waiting for my refund. Four phone calls later with four promises to phone me back and no return calls, no refund. Sorry Kailis, Im shopping elsewhere in future.
As is proved time and time again, it is a case of finding the right person to talk to within a company. My first contact with Kaillis Bro (receptionist) was unfruitful with the usual accusations that perhaps I did something to the product, etc. Going a little deeper into the company, not only will they replace the faulty product but they are willing to drive out to my house and quality check it. I'm impressed.

Have been waiting 2 weeks now to a response from Quality Control at KB FOODS
I bought KB CLASSIC CRUMBED WHITING FISH BITES They were only packaged in a cardboard packet When cooked they tasted like plastic cardboard absolutely disgusting Have complained to their customer service number who has passed message on to appropriate person but he has not contacted me I paid $10 for an inferior product

Bought crumbed whiting fillets.I doubt very much if they are Whiting.More like Bassa I believe.Absolute rubbish, with no taste.Supposedly New Zealand Whiting sent to China for processing.Never again.
