Terrible service.
Sold me a second hand machine that was leaking oil from the day it arrived. I requested a repair service but even after the leaking did not stop, and was so severe I was unable to use the machine.
When I requested a refund, they took $200 off the original price saying it was their "delivery fee" which was not mentioned before - my house is 10 minutes away from the store? Wasted both my time and money. I would not have purchased anything here if I knew how their service was. The room is messy and they left my front door with sand all over to attempt covering the oils.

Not happy about my new machine getting a service when it was decided it was a mother board problem. It hasn’t done enough hours to warrant a service (which I can do myself). . This business needs to get in touch with the customer, instead of carrying out work they were specifically asked not to do, and then charging $100. A phone call was all that was required.
I could have cleaned it myself at home and saved myself an hour driving and $100. The mother board has not been replaced under warranty. Let’s see if I have further problems because of this.

I just want to do a quick shoutout to the Blackmore and Roy Team! I have an older Elna 1200 which basically stopped sewing a straight stitch (and a proper zigzag stitch for that matter) and I could not fix it for the life of me by the various adjustments! The width and length was irregular and all over the place. Blackmore and Roy were kindly recommended so I have dropped the machine off for a service and it now works like magic:) Turns out that the previous owner was using vegetable oil on it!!! The turnaround was within a week and at a reasonable price too.

The only reason why this is a 4 rather than a 5 is that the machine came back not only without my test fabric which I left at the shop for reference, but also without 2 spools of thread that were sitting on the machine. I was not advised of this at the time of drop off, otherwise I would have taken the fabric and thread back home.

Overall, a recommended business! 🙂
