I needed to replace one of a pair of gas struts on my pool pump enclosures lid.
One of the old ones leaked and the other one was overloaded as a result.
The original old black/chrome struts always struggled to lift/shut smoothly.
Over a couple of emails and phone calls, Ian worked out that the best way to go was with a fully stainless steel set up due to the corrosive position in the enclosure and to increase the diameter of the struts to deal with the (heavy) metal lid.
Ian came out a couple of days later to my home which is the other side of Perth from his premises to remove and install and it now shuts and opens perfectly.
Fast service, friendly advice and a really good price.
Thoroughly recommended.
