Mal and Michelle recently completed a shade sail installation for us. The total experience has been first class from the initial site meetings through to the final installation. The shade sail is marine grade as are all the stainless steel fittings so this unit will handle the worst of the Perth coastal conditions.

Our journey started with wanting some cover over our second vehicle. We had the concrete pad, but it was always exposed to the rain, sun and more worryingly, hail. A hard cover wasn't an option with us wanting to keep the roofline of the house clean. We decided on a shade sail, and figured a 'square-ish' design, corner to corner would be best.

Enter Cool Solutions Shade Sails. We reached out to Mal on the website and got a follow up phone call making a time convenient to us for Mal to come around, and when he did he immediately got us thinking about things we hadn't. Sweep, curves, shade coverage, aesthetic design, rainwater runoff management-there was so much, and that's all before we even got to colours!

We quickly realised there was a lot more to this than four posts and a piece of fabric. Mal was incredibly patient, took the time to listen to our thoughts and ideas and then told us what that would look like and how he could do it. And he never rushed us...if anything he had so much to share, wanting to be sure we felt we made the best decision for us.

When we agreed to the design Mal set about with the measurements and then, to our surprise we received the most comprehensive quote. Not only were the costs quoted, but Mal had provided other attachments which showed models and representations of size of the sail, roof coverage, shade coverage at various times of the day and more! It was incredible...like house plans. And we loved it.

Michelle made sure we knew what was happening and when. So helpful in booking times for the works to be done, and letting us know when Mal and the team were coming over through phone and text messages. We always knew what was happening and when.

The final product speaks to all this and the promise of aftercare and service makes us realise we made the best choice possible going with Cool Solutions Shade Sails. Michelle and Mal, thank you so much; Susan and I are definitely very happy customers.

Mal & Michelle are very professional. They explain the process/gears to us very clear from the beginning to finish. All steps are carefully proceed. Mal helped us design and show us 3D model with shadow analysis on each time of the day. His construction team also one of they best. They were very polite. They installed all poles with minimum impact to my back yard. Most of all, the price is very reasonable. In fact, it is better than all companies that we engaged for the quote. 5 stars =)
