"An Iconic Landmark at UWA!"

This building is undoubtedly one of the most iconic landmarks of the University of Western Australia (UWA). I still remember the first time I saw it—I was amazed by its classic and majestic architecture. The large pond with ducks wandering around and the spacious green garden in front make it even more beautiful. The grandeur of this building is truly breathtaking!

Nice, interesting and wonderful old garden setting. Depends why you’re there, whether it’s the right venue or not, however, if just viewing the architecture it’s very nice. The acoustics and visibility of an orchestra/stage performance is a bit limited, not as good as somewhere like the Perth Concert Hall or His Majesty’s. And make sure you go to the bathroom BEFORE visiting, they’re yet to be properly renovated!

Went to the West Australian Tattoo Expo at Winthrop Hall at the University of Western Australia … What a beautiful space!

Just remember there’s no smoking or vaping at all and also no food outlets that are open on campus nights and weekends.

Also be careful with parking they have made it a bit more complex than it needs to be so read the signs and colours and areas carefully - UWA has enforcement officers.

Great place to hold the graduation ceremony. Beautiful environment and such a unique place. Tgee was special parking was arranged for the graduation ceremony close to winthrop Hall. These were limited and needed to come early. The hiring of clork, photography, and plaque to be purchased all were close by.Afternoon Tea was great enough choices of short snacks, tea, or beverages such as champagne, beer or wine.
