Great old school hardware shop. The range of wares is amazing. It's a much more pleasant experience shopping a Sue's hardware shop than Bunnings, and much more convenient. Support this local business because local businesses need support from the community or they will disappear to the multi national monopolies 👌

Very impressed with this very welcoming hardware store. Their range is impressive given their size, and the staff are always knowledgeable and friendly.

I particularly love the slightly old world feel to the exterior of the shop, the shop frontage is fantastic and feels like a throwback to a bygone era when service and customer welfare were top priorities.

I would also highlight that prices always feel very fair, I expected prices to be higher given its a small independent shop, but I truly feel they're very fair, not once have I felt otherwise.

Sue is great to work with. Whenever I need something from Bunnings I quickly check to see if Sue has it. She alway makes an effort to assist me or directs me to the right place. Top little hardware and garden supplies shop. They don't stock everything, but what they do is good quality and the service and advice is excellent.
2020 Update: they do now sell pretty much everything, including a great range of plants. Sue provides such excellent service and advice. Such an improvement on other hardware suppliers.

Great range of products for a local hardware store. The owner is super knowledgeable and helpful, and is willing to spend time with you going through your options. Prices are mostly on-par with other shops, but the service and location can't be beaten.

Attended the local hardware store today after recently reading a post saying they have absolutely everything and anything. As a local company, we spend thousands in Bunnings each week, and thought we would try sourcing things and supporting local.
Women working in the store today was less than inviting. My partner and I entered with our baby in a pram, and as we manoeuvred through the store, we were told her store is not big enough for prams. We stated we'd park him off to the side, and my partner would stay there whilst I browsed. She then told us to put the baby at the front door, he's not old enough to care and we are in a safe enough neighbourhood. She followed my partner through the store as she tried to find a suitable spot to stand in with the pram, she felt very uncomfortable and ended up just leaving.
So, note to self, if you have a pram, or have a disability that requires you to use a wheelchair, shop elsewhere.

Great local hardware store. I've been in many times needing help to find something for a specific problem and have always had great service and support. If they don't have it, there is always a suggestion. Have also been there for key cutting, random bolts or screws needed, or a pot plant. Lucky to have a local hardware store like this
