The cellar door is beautiful, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the quality of the product is top-shelf. We've been lucky enough to try most of the varietals; however, we particularly love S&H's chardonnay and rose.

We loved our visit and wine tasting at the Snake & Herring Cellar Door this week, the staff are friendly and very knowledgeable, and each wine has a song inspired story. On a warm afternoon with a gentle breeze over the kid & dog friendly shady outdoor area and lawns, we relaxed and enjoyed our yummy cheese, fig & anchovy platter with a glass of the 'Wide Open Road' Pinot Noir; the fridge at Snake & Herring is jam packed with deliciousness to make up your own picnic. This family friendly place will be on our 'go to again' list when we're 'down south'.

What a wonderful spot! Plenty of seating both inside and out - you can also purchase some great local produce including cheese, oils, spreads, nuts etc. Its a kid friendly, dog friendly, picturesque place to be able to have a picnic. On the wine side they have great variety that were consistently delicious - super gorgeous bottles too that would make lovely gifts. They also have great gifts including games and handmade jewellery. Big thanks to the owner here as well - so knowledgable and so friendly!! Will definitely be a spot we will keep coming back to.

What a wonderful place to spend the afternoon!

With passionate and friendly staff, plenty of space to sit and enjoy a grazing board and buy a few sneaky extras from the deli ( how many cellar doors let you buy wine by the glass? ended up having a few bottles on ice 😝 ) all the while watching the kids play lawn games, Our entire group was well entertained and we didn’t have to leave the dog in the car ( dog friendly ) , we certainly didn’t need to go anywhere else.

Highly recommend this cellar door, it offers more than you think , will most definitely be back . I have more wine to taste and enjoy . 😊

Lovely Tasting. Winemaker Red was super friendly. Outdoor space is shady, relaxing and dog friendly, with plenty of games for the kiddos. Delicious wine and charcuterie boards!

We had a lovely afternoon recently at Snake and Herring. The wines were exceptional, the range of yummy deli items were extensive and uniquely different to elsewhere. The staff could not have been more helpful. I also noticed the little things that you don't always get at bigger venues: clean bathrooms even later in the day, cold water and glasses regularly replenished, games for the kids (and big kidadults too!), not too many people squished in, and no lines. A thoroughly enjoyable boutique winery experience. Thank you 😊

Wonderful cellar door nestled in native gardens with cosy corners to settle in and enjoy. Excellent variety of delicious wine available (Pinto Gris was my fav) as well as a fridge bursting with incredible products sourced locally and internationally- think French cheese, amazing foccacia and organic heirloom tomatoes from their veggie garden. Fabulous staff top it all off. Throughly enjoyed my visit and left with wine and tomatoes to savour at home. Will be returning!!

One of my favourite cellar doors in the South West. Love dropping in for a glass of wine and some delicious deli snacks. You can either stay and hang out in their lovely garden or get everything to go. Always great service too.
