The ordering system was interesting, essentially you put your own order through and grab your own number. This doesn’t reflect the menu pricing. However I paid cash so I had to stand at the counter for 12 minutes until a worker was available.

The tables food came out all over the place, with me ordering first and getting my food last.

The restaurant itself was very dirty, my table was the only people in there eating at 5.30 pm and they were doing some sort of renovations so our whole meal we could barely talk as the sound of a loud drill was vibrating through the restaurant.

The food itself; The fried rice, the best out of the dishes we ordered. Nothing special though. Cheesy garlic bread was not nice at all. Onion rings were undercooked and very oily. The Angus beef pho noodle was very plain and had so much red raw red onion through it which was not on the menu.

The crew went above and beyond for our Wedding anniversary!
We frequent the Coogee cafe but made the trip down to Secret Harbour for our anniversary dinner. Always a pleasure eating here and even organised a little surprise dessert for the wife, amazing people and amazing food can’t complain about that!

I get it.
I totally understand what they’re going for - with the beach vibe; classic cafe food + drinks; and Vietnamese twist like phở.

But unfortunately their customer service sucks.
And they’re so busy / understaffed that their tables aren’t clean.
And there’s flies buzzing around so much it’s gonna send me insane.

Did I mention their prices are CRAZY expensive.

I love cafes, but honestly it’s the prices that means I won’t give it another chance.

Went in tonight to try the new frozen yohgurt!! The lovely gentlemen serving us tonight went out of his way to make it enjoyable. Also had coffees made very nicely and tasted yum wish I got the baristas name!!

My wife's birthday and she wanted to go somewhere we hadn't been to before. We started our journey online and found we could make reservations, but for a minimum of four people. We only had three so we called and were told that reservations weren't necessary during the week. The trip went well only 19 minutes from home straight into an awesome beach atmosphere. Not much of a view; just sand dunes but only about 50m through the dues to the beach. Parking was pretty full due to a gorgeous beach day. Access from the parking is easy, straight into ground level facility in the multi-storey Secret Harbour Lifesaving building. Seating is both inside and out. Outside is covered but with limited protection if the wind comes up. Menu is extraordinary with Asian/beach pub fusion fair. We had Beef Pho noodles, Horizontal Cabanera Ramen, Grandma's Fried Rice, Duck Fat Chips, Bali juice, Flu Fighter ice tea and Little Creatures Ginger Beer. Prices were what we expected for the location premium. Food quality was outstanding. Food portions are generous. Orders are at the counter, but service to the table was quick, efficient, and pleasant.
We left very satisfied and already planning to go back. We can't wait. There is a sister location in Coogee if Secret Harbour is a little too far.

Absolute rip off, $30 FOR 2 bubble teas, could not believe the price of everything at this place, its a local Cafe not a tourist trap... it has ruined a locals beach!! the golf course across the road is half the price. I recommend everyone to just eat there😡😡

The restaurant was very dirty with left over food and plates from previous customers all over the place, waited around to ask if somebody could clean it in the end we found a dirty cloth on another table we cleaned it ourselves. Ordered eggs Benedict and the food was so dry I couldn’t even force myself to eat it. Half the plate was soggy wet spinach. For the price you pay for the food wasn’t good enough. Seem to have a worse experience each time I return but safe to say I won’t be back after today. The self serve food ordering system seems great until you realise the place is obviously understaffed and maybe that’s why the place is so filthy.
