I had a great first visit with Dr. Yamile Avila. From the moment I first called to make the appointment, the experience was smooth and welcoming—the receptionist was friendly and informative, making everything easy. We are on holiday from Melbourne and my daughter got croup. We were able to get an appointment straight away and they were even lovely when I phoned up to change the time because she fell back asleep and I wanted her to get some rest. The doctor we saw was very helpful

This was my first visit to OceanMed, a friend had recommended them as a bulk billing practice for a skin check. I was impressed from start to finish. Ample parking, a modern facility with friendly and professional staff. I was seen by Dr Mohamed who was outstanding and after a thorough examination attended to the areas of concern.

I have had many skin checks over 30 years, but I was very impressed with Dr Mohamed. He is very professional and explains things in a way that everyone can understand. I would give 6 stars if possible.

SKIN CANCER! After going to a previous 'we'll advertised, so called professional' clinic in Robina, where I was charged a motsa for the skin check, (Oceanmed bulk bill theirs), I was told there were no concerns. After a while (trusting that statement), I was again concerned.
Oceanmed confirmed my concerns and now after a few visits, I have had 3 BCC's (2 aggressive, one on my scalp) and 2 melanomas removed. Scars minimal, very happy client here, I wont ever go anywhere else!
Photo of stitches removed today, an aggressive BCC. This will heal nicely.

Dr Mohamed Elsaid did a very thorough skin check. He took his time answering any questions I had and also provided lots of information on other treatments that I enquired about during my consult. Highly recommend.
