I bought a packet of De Beer Meat company original biltong from my local shop last week and couldn’t be more disappointed when I opened it. The meat is rancid, I had to spit it out. It’s stinks of off meat.
It was a real shame as it is great packaging and nice big chunks of meat, I was really looking fwd to trying it, what a shame!

I’ve eaten a lot of biltong both here in Australia and in South Africa, I’ve never tasted this before, so disappointing.

Good beef jerky but why does it measure salt in grams and not miligrams? it's either a mess up or i just had a fatal amount of salt

Awesome biltong. Stopped in this morning as a recommended place to pick up some quality biltong and I wasn't disappointed. Got the trim Peri Peri and Original. Great consistency and flavour with friendly service. Will definitely be going back.

Been a customer of de Beer Meat Co since 2011. Their quality of the Biltong and boerewors is the BEST IN AUSTRALIA!! If you live outside of Brisbane they will post your order and you will receive it to your front door. Highly recommend.
