We stayed there three nights and had our breakfasts included in the booking. The food was healthy and yummy, but slightly similar everyday. If there was an option for us to choose that would be even better. But the place was very beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The treehouse is clean and spacious, with comfortable bed, big tv, clean toilet, dining table, and we absolutely loved the massage spa bath! We also booked for a couple massage arranged in our treehouse and it was a very relaxing one. The staffs were very friendly and nice too. There was also board games available at the reception for us to borrow and play in our treehouse. ||The highlight would be our three course dinner at their restaurant. The food and desserts were way over our expectations and you rarely find this quality outside. We would absolutely love to come back for another meal. Thank you for the wonderful and relaxing stay.

This is not our first stay at Pethers Rainforest Retreat and there is a very good reason for this. We feel so lucky to have found this place. So much privacy and spacious accommodation. The spa fits two quite comfortably with space to still move around. Relaxing private outdoor setting looking into the rainforest or sit inside the air conditioned comfort looking through a whole wall of glass. We are Nightshift people, so we're up late night and rise late. The blackout blinds worked well. Our previous stay had dine in breakfast and we'll be back again to enjoy that in the future. Thoroughly recommend for a romantic, relaxing getaway. Has a bar fridge, kettle, toaster and a microwave. Restaurants and IGA are close by. Our special piece of paradise, we'll be back.

We came away for a romantic weekend and it was lovely. Been ten years since our last experience (which was not great then if I’m being honest) so thought ….. let’s give it a go. Bibiana - thank you so much. She went above and beyond to fix the little mix up and approached it professionally and courageously and this was not lost on me. Thanks so much team. Nice job. Wow. This was a fantastic place to stay. Beautiful setting and very luxurious. I loved it.
Breakfast was brought to us which was nice.
We came Monday to Wednesday so the main lodge wasn't open for anything other than reception - not even drinks. The main lodge looked stunning and would have loved to have had access to even a coffee and a biscuit, sure it would have been really nice.

ABSOLUTELY SENSATIONAL!!!

From the moment we arrived and saw our tranquil, gorgeously appointed treehouse with complimentary bubbles and chocolate, to the delicious breakfast basket of smashed avo on home baked bread, juice and warm fruit danishes - we were transported to another world!

Private, beautifully appointed and furnished treehouses (our elderly parents had the equally beautiful accessible ‘treehouse’), with indoor spa baths that still felt like you were in the treetops amidst the birds!

Every single staff member was gracious, hospitable and welcoming: Paul the Manager, Bibiana in Reception through to Leo working to keep the beautiful environment natural, yet immaculately tended.

However, the ABSOLUTE HIGHLIGHT for our entire family was Chef Alex and his talented team, who provided us with one of the finest dining experiences that anyone in our party of sixteen had EVER had! Every single mouthful was amazing - nothing disappointed - which was exceptional, particularly for those party members who had significant dietary restrictions (and who often feel like their meals are ‘less than’) - NOT SO on Chef Alex’s watch!

He clearly prides himself on providing the most outstanding culinary experience for every single guest - and he frankly exceeded even his own extremely high standards with our meals!

If I could rate him and his team at more than five stars - I seriously would.

Lovely retreat. If you want to feel disconnected then this is perfect. Although you do have to go out for lunch and dinner as there is only a microwave in the room. Supplied breakfast was light but nice.

A lovely rainforest retreat, beautiful views, and really friendly staff.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay here with the weekend getaway package that included an amazing dinner at the restaurant on site.

The bath is functional and comfortable though I might suggest a deeper clean before the next guests come in.

The view is incredible and the location is quiet but close enough to all the things you’d want to do in Mt Tamborine.

I got the picnic package add on, and while the food is basic, I loved the charm of it.

The complimentary breakfast each day was different and nice, though not too hearty so prepare to want to eat something in addition.

Staff here are down to earth and very friendly.

The treehouse itself was lovely, beautifully furnished (not completely clean as we dropped something then found other rubbish under the bed). ||We felt the property missed the mark on the broader experience and ambience, compared to many other similar properties we’ve stayed at. ||Eg no atmosphere in the central area during the daytime, it was advertised on the website drinks and platters would be available during the day, however on check in we were told no food or drink was available during the day. Compared to other properties where we felt welcome to relax in the central area with a drink, fireplace, playing games etc, this property really lacked that feel. ||||Breakfast was hit and miss but okay. Again compared to other similar properties was smaller and more basic. ||Dinner was lovely, can’t fault the food. Service could be improved - the restaurant was half full but it was still hard to order a drink or get water refills. ||||Overall nice but definitely not luxury outside of the treehouse itself.
