Called up too order, the lady picks up and all she says is “yes” you don’t answer the phone like that it is poor customer service skills, asked for the chips cheese and gravy pack, the lady asked large or small I turned too ask my partner whether we wanted the large or small and the lady hung up on me and now will not pick up the phone

Ordered crumed fish and 6 calamari rings over the phone lady was very abrupt and it was like answering the phone was a problem for her.
Fish was almost paper thin, the calamari was soggy crumbs slid off.
So for those who will jump on me for my opinion. It was MY experience not yours. Definitely not a place I'll be going back to.

Picked up two hamburgers, seafood stick ($2.50 crumbed) and cornjack ($4) last night. The service was good and didn't have to wait long. If I could post a critique, the cheese on the burger was too processed and the bun wasn't toasted. Other than than, great sized patty, fresh salad and lots of it including beetroot and fresh roll. Expensive at $10 each but you will pay $10.80 for a classic Angus burger only at Macca's with no carrot, fried onion, or beetroot so prices are comparable. Next time we are going to hold the cheese and ask for the bun to be toasted and it should be perfect. The fried foods were exactly as they should be.

They don't answer their phone, rang the number 4 times & each time it dropped out after a minute listening to ring tone. When owners work it's completely different, when the women work seems like they are too busy chatting than taking orders. Food is also sub standard. Thank goodness for the Chinese next door.

Why can’t fish taste good anymore. Do they bleed the fish It’s a strong horrible fishy taste. Not one good fish and chip shop at all here in Townsville. The meat is even brown. Definitely will not recommend sorry. Stop doing the cheap way out

Best fish and chip shop in Townsville, underrated. Have the best fish and chips in town by far, please please please if you need a good fish and chip shop try this one you will not be disappointed. Ordered a pizza once and it was sooooooooo good like so unbelievably good

We love the food here, it tastes gorgeous and very generous...the only thing I can say against is: I get battered fish and I always ask 4 it to be extra drained, just never tastes like it is and it's a bit soggy, I also give a little extra not that it's charged for crispy chips and they're not crispy, I don't like talking negative about a takeaway shop... but they do have other delicious food like garlic prawns and dim sims
