Peter Rasmussen is a fantastic coach who gives generously of his time and energy. He brings genuine enthusiasm and instinctively identifies what’s needed to help bring out the best in an actor.

He recently helped me prepare for an audition callback, and his support allowed me to feel more confident and break through some self-doubt. I had taken a class with Peter some years prior, and it left a lasting impression - I knew he’d be the right person to offer the insight and encouragement I needed.

Peter’s guidance was clear, practical, and grounded in a deep understanding of the craft. His feedback was thoughtful and targeted, giving me real tools to approach the callback with confidence.

I completed my first online acting course with Peter - the Uta Hagen technique. The classes and content were well structured with activities to be completed and submitted before the next lesson. I really enjoyed the course, from the new techniques learned to participating in weekly Zooms with Peter and fellow students, to the homework and constructive feedback. Peter makes you feel at ease, that it’s a safe space to explore and have fun and play. If I lived in Brisbane I’d attend the in person course too! Highly recommend. I recently was a participant in Character Chameleon. This course is brilliant for beginners and seasoned actors. The techniques were so clear and Peter is incredibly thorough and really able to see and encourage the release of hidden characters. Peter is brilliant at really seeing you as an individual and encourages you to embrace your quirks as a performer. Not only did this course help me shake off a rut I'd fallen into but it actually helped me land auditions in the duration of the course. A reminder that casting directors want to see your boldness and authenticity. I would recommend this course to those wanting to start out or to actors (and I have) who have been working for a long time.

Hi Peter! An amazing workshop, time flew by so incredibly fast and I didn’t feel drained at all. Sure, fatigued by the end but what a great way to spend a Saturday learning a new skill. I have recommended my boyfriend who will wait for the next Vulnerability workshop. I have purchased the line memorisation program during class also and working through this today, as I didn’t remember my lines well enough to participate but that’s Okay.
