I have never had such an unpleasant and discriminatory experience before. The cashier #24 did NOT allow me to buy a bottle of wine, I showed my ID and he just said that I was accompanied by my daughter who is a minor and COULD NOT BUY LIQUOR. That rule is NOT PUBLISHED anywhere in the store. Even a customer who was behind me, wanted to buy the bottle of wine for me, and the employee didn’t accept it either. What’s wrong with these employees? I looked for a supervisor and she said that “I could buy what I wanted, showing my ID.” But when arriving at the checkout again the employee told his superior that they were new rules (not even the supervisor knew it) it is also a lack of respect with customers that they (employees) communicate in another language that is NOT the customer’s. They are increasingly inefficient, incapable and rude. You need good MANAGEMENT in this Walmart. Impossible to recommend this place. ?

I recently had the misfortune of visiting the Walmart in Sterling, and I must say, it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. The store was filthy, with trash littering the aisles and the shelves in complete disarray. It's evident that cleanliness is not a priority here.

To make matters worse, finding assistance was an exercise in futility. The staff were either non-existent or utterly indifferent to customer needs. This was particularly frustrating when I needed help accessing the infant food, which they inexplicably keep under lock and key. I was forced to wait an agonizing 40 minutes just to get someone to unlock the cabinet. This is utterly unacceptable, especially for essential items like infant food.

Walmart in Sterling needs a serious overhaul in both its cleanliness standards and customer service. Until then, I would advise shoppers to take their business elsewhere.

Unacceptable does not begin to describe this is not the Custodian’s fault is purely on the store manager. Billion dollar corporation is telling me it’s OK to piss on the floor as long as I buy something. Metro has better bathrooms than this Walmart.

They never fail to give me the worst customer service experience, especially the electronics department. I have purchased multiple items that appear to be used or tampered with after opening. Also purchased an item that did not contain the electronic in the box.

The longest I’ve been on hold for them on the phone is 23 minutes, it’s honestly impressive how bad this store is. The standard for Walmart is already low, but they manage to be borderline disrespectful to their customers

Terrible auto service. People are rude and interrupt the agents trying to help someone. Some agents aren’t qualified for the auto center and will interrupt another agent helping a customer. I made an appointment for tire install and the appointment came and went. I was told there was only one tech working and 7 cars waiting. Before it turned into my entire late afternoon being wasted at Walmart, I left with my car. I will never go back. If you catch a deal on tires, I would take them somewhere else and don’t be suckered in with the lower price offered by Walmart. It’s not worth the stress. If you leave your car for the entire day and have a ride waiting. This might be the place for you. Do not expect appointments to mean anything.

Yet again I made the mistake of scheduling a curbside pick up order at sterling Walmart. The first time I came here earlier in the year, I had to wait over an hour for my order, after 3 employees came to my car asking for my name and saying “your order is coming out”. This time, because I had an order of only 9 things, I figured I’d try it out again. Should’ve just drove to leesburg. I’ve been waiting for 45 minutes now. And twice, an employee has asked for my name. One said she didn’t need to scan a barcode Walmart provides, and the other saying she does need to scan the barcode. STILL NO BAGS IN MY CAR.
The absolute worst. Don’t provide this service anymore if you can’t keep up sterling walmart. You guys suck.

Excellent experience! The entire staff is very friendly, but I particularly want to highlight the kindness and professionalism of a Chilean gentleman who checks bags at the entrance. His attention made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

My review may be a bit biased because it’s primarily focused on their customer service which is not good. I have had to ask for help a number of times when the photo / electronic center is empty but really the one part of the store where you need someone to unlock a cabinet or get your photo order. I even understand it not being staffed but after walking to the front and talking to the manager and being told someone will be right there and having to tell the manager 10 minutes later no one had come it got frustrating.

It’s a Walmart. Keep your low expectations very low and you won’t be disappointed.
