RL Carpentry & Joinery made our wonderful timber double front doors and the fantastic timber door knob which we painted orange as you can see in the photo. They also made the surrounding timber frames for the 5 glass panels including the large one at the top of the doors which is hinged to allow cross ventilation. RL Carpentry also did numerous other work for us, using both reclaimed and new timber. They are all very willing to try any ideas we come up with and we appreciate that they also give us constructive feedback what they thought would work or wouldn't work. They are great to work with and we look forward to continuing that relationship into the future. We love seeing the huge variety of work they do for others, and we are thrilled with the timber work they did for us, including timber door sills and wash stand with reclaimed timber, repairs to a 100 year old sideboard, and numerous jobs with new timber.

Buyer beware – Appalling customer service

We ordered the manufacture and delivery of a bespoke fly screen door at the end of March 2023. A deposit was made. After 3 months nothing had been delivered. Emails, phone calls, messages left on their website were ignored. Finally received a response stating the door would be completed within a week. Nothing happened. We therefore cancelled the order and requested a full refund. The company agreed to refund us within 7 days. Alas, this was not forthcoming. Refund finally received once we stated we would take the matter to NSW Fair Trading.

Our advice if you’re looking for a reputable company. Keep looking - as this is not one of them.
