This was my experience to obtain a flyscreen door and 2 flyscreen windows:
Initially organised a measure and quote 16 October. Minutes before attendance, I get a call to say it’s been cancelled. Which was an annoying start as I organised this for when my son was in daycare.
Reorganised for 25 October - no issues, receive a quote.
Accept quote that week by paying 50% deposit, receive email saying turnaround time is 6 weeks.
Followed-up 2-3x with Wynstan between beginning of Dec and end of Jan about whereabouts of product.
Finally contacted by an installer who said he could do 18 Feb (I was away then), organised for 24 Feb.
Installed 24 Feb - initially during installation of my door there was a hole in the fly screen, luckily I checked and pointed it out there and then and the installer redid it otherwise it probably would’ve taken another few months to fix (or maybe they wouldn’t have come).
So that’s 25 October 2024 to 24 Feb 2025 to get a flyscreen and 2 flyscreen windows installed (basically 4 months), with no communication and a lot of chasing up in between. I wanted these in place for summer and they basically got installed by the end of summer. Luckily I was not organising to do this before selling my place or something that was time sensitive.
The 2 stars is because the installer Jason was nice and did rectify the product after I pointed out the fault. But honestly, I’m sure there are other companies that are doing a better job out there with better communication and turnaround times, spend your money on them.
I’ve just added photos of what the door looked like before the rectification. And I acknowledge it was fixed but honestly, when I’m already waiting 4 months for this it really shouldn’t be up to me to point out that the new product you’re installing is faulty.

We just finished an installation with Wynstan Five Dock this week and the results are superb. From the get go, they were extremely easy to deal with, with Joe coming out and reviewing our options. Ryan did a fantastic job keeping us in the loop for expected installation time and when our blinds were expected to come in. He was extremely quick and efficient, leaving no mess. It has really elevated the feel of our apartment and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone.

The manufacture was slow and waiting periods was painful. However, the installation team from Sydney 5 docks spent 1 and half whole days did a very neat and delicate job. Thanks Brendon and Wally who made all the waiting was worthy

Never deal with these guys. Once you pay money you literally go in circle calling head office and them. They literally blame each other but they work under same umbrella worst case is you call five dock it gets direct to drummoyne apparently they don’t have phone and you have to explain again. I been waiting awning for 3 months and finally it arrived with completely different colour with no logo. Please customers do your research before you give any job to this company.

I recently had the pleasure of having Theo from Wynstan install roller blinds and curtains in my home, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the service. Theo arrived well-equipped for the job and was exceptionally communicative throughout the process. From arrival times to updates on progress and coordination of logistics and security access, he kept me informed every step of the way.Theo's friendly and helpful demeanor made the entire experience seamless. He even took the time to clean and clear all the packaging rubbish after the installation, leaving everything spotless. What stood out the most was his trustworthiness. I felt completely comfortable leaving him alone in the house while I ran some errands, knowing everything was in good hands.I highly recommend Theo and Wynstan for both the quality of their blinds and the superb installation service. Terrible quality product. After one year my pleated flyscreen door started playing up, second year it got worse, now after 3 years its almost useless. Playing up as it doesn’t close properly, rough, and requires several tries to shut. The strings have now broken and panels coming off the tracks. Used once or twice a day.
Warranty wise they wanted me to pay for call out fee and parts whilst still under their ‘3 year limited warranty’, if not ‘maybe try WD-40’. Read the fine print, full warranty for 12 months only, and after that good luck if it lasts in good working order for much longer.
Also when they installed window flyscreen, they damaged my window track (wheel) and now that is hard to close to. Regret trying to go local.

This is the third house we have utilised the products offered by Wynstan ranging from Sydney To the central coast. From plantation shutters, crimsafe screens for doors and windows and general window dressings, Wynstan have it all! All my orders have run to time, never been wrong or delayed. The team from initial inquiry to quoting like Kane and Terry in the central coast to a Chris the installer. The follow up is fabulous. I’m provided with regular updates on the progress of my orders and a flexible team including the fabulous Anne B around installation timings.
I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
