Hidden gem for sure 🙂 what a beautiful stop, we were so surprised, it felt like we were in an Italian winery. Friendly service and they offered delicious lunch: homemade soup, homemade sourdough and ploughman’s platter with homemade chutney. We tried some incredible wines, and bought some. Worth a visit for sure 🙂

A beautiful and historic winery well worth a visit. Jonathan was very knowledgeable and it’s lovely to not be charged a tasting fee like many other wineries in NSW. We walked out with a case which won’t last too long.

Winery with history, set against the hill. Had a very informative tasting and then a tasty light lunch. Lunch was a choice between two dishes. Walked away with a few bottles to enjoy. Friendly and inviting experience.

Unexpected vineyard and a cellar door full of character on the banks of the Hawkesbury River in Sackville. Offering up tastings of their white and red varieties along with a handful of fortified. Vermentino was fruity and acidic. Pleasurable on the pallet and paired nicely with food. Their reds are big and bold due to the recent wet summer vintages. Particularly enjoyed the Petit Verdot. Step inside the cellar door and escape the heat while being transported back in time.

Old building at Tizzana Road built in 1887. The Winery sells variety of wines starting from $15 for a bottle. Very friendly people (Peter & Jonathan)who runs the winery. Car parking available.
