Great quality meat & poultry at wholesale prices. They have more poultry like quails, spatchcocks, duck etc rather than beef when I visit. However love that they have plenty of free range products. Friendly service.

Recently got to try this shop that opened up to sell game meat and other fresh produce - there’s a nice variety and the meat quality is indeed fresh and lovely! I particularly enjoy the duck which has a nice smoked flavour to it and is tender still after cooking - check it out!

There is not many places that you can get fresh quails not the frozen one.
This time I have bought the fresh quails and eggs, a beef shin, and 2 free-range chicken.

I will share my receipt here in how to prepare the quails so you can all try it out 😊

Preparation :  😌
• 6 quails, cleaned and dressed
• 2 medium sweet potatoes and carrots, peeled and cut into wedges
• 4 tablespoons soy sauce
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• Fresh herbs (like thyme, rosemary, or parsley)
• Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C.
2. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
3. Marinate the Quails: Place the quails in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure they are well-coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to a few hours in the fridge).
4. Prepare the Sweet Potatoes & Carrots: Toss the sweet potato and carrots wedges in a little olive oil, salt, and pepper. You can also add some herbs for extra flavor.
5. Arrange in a Baking Dish: In a baking dish, place the marinated quails and arrange the sweet potato wedges under and around them.
6. Add Herbs: Sprinkle fresh herbs over the quails and sweet potatoes.
7. Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 25 minutes, or until the quails are cooked through and the sweet potatoes are tender.
8. Serve: Remove from the oven and put some honey on the quails and let it rest for 5 minutes in the oven before serving. 🍽️

Enjoy your dish! 😋

I visited this establishment on 13/2/2024 and was unfortunately met with a disappointing experience. Upon inquiry, I was steered towards highly priced grain-fed beef, with the staff member expressing uncertainty about the offerings of nearby competitors. This led to me being coerced into purchasing a cut of meat, which I later discovered was significantly overpriced at $40 per kilo, especially when compared to similar cuts available for $25 per kilo in the vicinity. Further comparison with Diamond Meat Services highlighted this discrepancy even more starkly, where scotch fillets were available for $35 per kilo, a far cry from the $55 per kilo charged here.

In addition to the pricing issues, my request for game meat, specifically grouse, was dismissed without consideration. The staff member's subsequent behavior, including laughing with another person out of my sight, was unprofessional and demeaning.

It's clear that the focus here leans more towards maximizing profit rather than fostering customer satisfaction or loyalty. This is in stark contrast to the warm welcome and genuine service I received at other locations nearby. Such a stark difference in customer service and pricing practices has convinced me not to return or recommend this establishment to anyone.

In the future, I hope this place reevaluates its approach towards customer interaction and pricing strategies. Genuine customer service and transparent pricing not only ensure repeat business but also foster a positive reputation within the community.
