A lovely spot on the eastern side of Heathcote, and just about your only option in the area for a coffee!

Arnie & Co serves a variety of classic Australian fare, with a sizeable menu and additional cakes and other treats available. The bacon egg roll was pretty basic and didn't taste of much, but nothing you can complain about for the price. The BLAT on the other hand was fantastic.

Coffee tasted good but needed a little miore work on the latte art to finish it off.

Service was lovely and friendly, and seemed to be even better if you were a local (lots of people got greeted by name), giving this place a real community vibe.

The decor out front is a little striking, but there is additional seating inside and a nice big area in the back garden, that acts as a fantastic sun trap and has a variety of different tables available. There are also a few bits to keep the kids entertained out back too which I really appreciated.

Speaking of kids, there is a good children's menu, and highchairs available.

One notable downside is the lack of toilet. If you have kids in tow, bear this in mind before going, or you may find yourself driving over to Maccas.

All in all, Arnie & Co is a really nice spot, and I'll pop back in next time I'm in the area.

First impression - SO clean! Pleasant dine in area In & outdoor. I can imagine having a mothers’ group get together out the back in the sunshine ☀️ Staff are so friendly & hardworking. Zucchini corn fritters were so good even my fussy eater 3 year granddaughter had some! Top 👍🏻 French fries too, best chips so say the kid. The next table had soup of the day, I’m definitely coming back for that! Plenty of parking & Short walk from train station. A rare find.

We called ahead on a rainy Saturday and ordered breakfast burgers and coffee. The burgers were amazingly delicious and the coffee was great. Service was spot on with timing and the staff are very friendly. I noticed while I was there that they also sell frozen take away dinners which is handy if you don't have time to make dinner. We will be back!

Update: The home-made Passionfruit Slice is amazing, I popped in today for a coffee and decided to give it a try. I wasn't disappointed, it was delicious!

Hi. Big shout out to the girls that run this place. Very clean, tasty, fresh and great value. The service is top shelf and as a diabetic they couldn’t help me enough on the ingredients right down to a chilly sauce that had sugar in it. Very happy! Thanks.

Bacon and egg rolls were fantastic. They're made in very soft and tasty fresh bread rolls. Coffee was okay.

Can't recommend Arnie & Co enough! Great food - all reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. Staff are all so lovely and friendly and always take the time to come over and have a chat and make a big fuss over my little boy no matter how flat chat they are. They also do so much for the elderly community of John Paul Village. Great atmosphere. They have a lovely outdoor area for sunny days. The Veggie Melt is to die for!

Went here for the first time, early in the morning no one else in the shop & ordered a bacon & egg and a small coffee. I can say with certainty I won’t be back. The lady doesn’t know how to cook bacon, it was half cooked, it actually looked like a hot ham & egg roll, no seasoning, minimal BBQ sauce. Very very average. The best part was the bread roll, which could have been lightly toasted to improve the taste but she needs some teaching on how to do it properly. As for the coffee, I’m sure the young lady did her best but I don’t think she drinks coffee as I would have got better at 7-11. And all I could taste was the heapful of sugar she must have put in. I had to throw both of the items out on the way to work. Very dissatisfied. Cannot recommend. I would love to go in and show her how to make a proper bacon & egg roll.

Super friendly staff, even in a busy Sunday late morning.
Very helpful a and genuinely apologetic when one of my orders items was not available.
Food is better than most other cafes around, even when buying takeaway.
Will stay for an eat in meal next time.
