Due to the gunwhales being slippery, I had contemplated using an adhesive EVA foam for them, but instead I decided to use a Norglass paint solution. Firstly I applied a white base coat of Weatherfast enamel. As you can see in the images, I masked out a pattern where I didn't want the grey decking paint (with grit built into the paint) to be. Then using a low nap roller, applying 2 coats of the grey decking paint has left a gritted surface better than expected and better than the sample on top of the tin.
Only suggestion I would have is to use thinners to thin the paint if it's a warm day, as the paint will tack off pretty quick.
Love the finish and its received alot of attention when the boat is viewed.

I purchased Norglass paving paint through recommendation and I’m very glad that I did.
It’s great to see an Australian company producing such a high standard product. Easy to use. GREAT results !! And exactly as described - my driveway and concrete is now non slip and safe ! I highly recommend that you buy Norglass.
My only tip is that you ring a couple of stockists to find the best price. Not all stockist have the same price.

I have been using Norglass paints and clears on wooden boats and Kayaks for some years now and I will not use any other product. All these water craft I have built all,painted with a roller.

During the last couple of years I've restored two boats. First was a Greek fishing boat then a Mariner Pacer. As I work in maritime I was fortunate to be guided by two good mates, both highly skilled boatbuilders. When I asked about paint they both recommended Norglass without hesitation. I'm happy they did because the restorations were both outstanding. Among the products that impressed me are Microshield Varnish, Weatherfast Premium Enamel and my all time favourite product, Norglass All Surface Primer. If you are going to prime almost anything, USE THIS PRODUCT!
I can't thank Brett and his team enough not only for the paints they develop but for the time they've taken to make sure I achieve the best possible result.
No more boat restorations for me but a definitely a Norglass customer for life!

Bought 2 part primer shipshape which applied fine
Northane top coat the finish is terrible
Need to do a full resand and use another product

Used norglass liquid glass epoxy.
Finish isn't clean, or 'glass' as claimed.

Contacted Brett at Norglass who refused to accept there is a product issue, blamed user error and even hung up on me after I requested direction on how to achieve a 'glass' finish as product directions were followed to a tee.

As a regular user of epoxy resin norglass is an inferior product and customer service is absolutely appalling.

Do not recommend.
