Bespoke brewery with some interesting home brew wines, has different sections to this brewery, so when we went to the toilets we saw there was a private party in one of the back sections, in a big warehouse bit. Looked like fun! Wonder if they do tours there. Very limited street parking. Not recommended to drive there or if you’re turning up later than 6pm. Food was simple and delicious.

Wildflower are probably Australia’s best brewery imo. Having MC beers there to break up the sours as well as great food has elevated this taproom. Best jn Marrickville? Maybe even Sydney?

Best brewery in the Inner West, with a feel more like a winery cellar door. With the recent addition of Mountain Brew there are now more options for those with more conventional beer tastes. Food is well above average as well

Love the place; very warm in winter! Beautiful decor and set up. Mountain culture beer is a plus. However; poor attitude - just ordered red wine that was clearly off; didn't get any apology and the waitress even doubted when I told her it was off! I wish they could trust customers especially when you are paying $16 for it! Hope they will take this feedback seriously as it is a very nice place otherwise!

It’s not great, I’m afraid. Compared to the many other breweries and pubs in the area, this one misses the mark by a mile. It doesn’t appear there is more than one person working in the kitchen on a Saturday afternoon, so food came out sporadically and slowly. The serving sizes are miserly even by inner-west standards for the price point. $9 for a 4 inch piece of baguette, $14 for a ‘kid’s meal’ that consists of 5 chicken nuggets and a few chips, and finally a $30 chicken schnitzel that is a single butterflied chicken thigh, crozzled in ‘organic’ oil. It arrived looking sad, shrivelled and nearly black, as opposed to the golden brown, plump offering on the online menu. When asked, I was told it was as due to the aforementioned ‘organic’ oil, which I could smell on the verge of smoking a few meters away, cooking at a higher temperature. Tried in vain to politely communicate to the person doing the cooking, a server and then a manager. Service wasn’t rude, but also not apologetic. After being presented two versions of a charred and oily nug of chicken, I gave up and accepted a refund.

To compound disappointment, we found broken glass on the floor underneath our table, which made us nervous with small kids. Would definitely not want to bring a dog here.

Amazingly, beer is 20-30% more expensive than other venues serving the very same beer. If this is meant to be a brewery collab - shouldn’t the beer from the brewery with its name on the entrance be cheaper here, not 20% more than say, The Henson?

Won’t be visiting again. You shouldn’t either.

Wildflower produces such unique one-of-a-kind beers. I can’t describe it, you just have to try it!! 🙂
The vibe of the venue is so nice - a little country winery vibe right in the inner west. Beautiful food from AP Bakery as well. Food is not cheap but great quality.
Since recently they are also selling more delicious Mountain Culture beer.
Service is always very friendly. Highly recommend!

Wow!! This is definitely a place to check out. Very different and eclectic small batch brews and also dog friendly.

The vibe is very chill and the staff were super helpful. I can’t wait to come back and try some more of their amazing beers.

Great Beer, But Hope You’re Not Hungry – Wildflower Brewery, Marrickville

We arrived at Wildflower Brewery Thursday before 8 PM, ready for a good evening with some beers and food. The beers? Fantastic. The food? Well
three out of four of us wouldn’t know.

We used their QR code system to order, only to find out—after it was too late—that the kitchen had closed for orders. One lucky friend managed to sneak an order through, leaving the rest of us watching him eat like we were extras in a food deprivation experiment.

It would’ve been nice if there was some clear communication about the kitchen’s closing time—maybe a sign, a heads-up from staff, or even a simple block on the ordering system to prevent false hope. Instead, we ended up with great drinks but empty stomachs, which was disappointing.

So, if you’re heading to Wildflower, enjoy the beer—it’s excellent. Just make sure you either eat beforehand or have the reflexes of a cat when ordering food.
