Always breaking down and when asked its always waiting for parts. How can a lift always have problems ? Vsq north building. Hey today another lift broke and we are down to one lift servicing 300 units now. The residents are starting to question the quality of your lifts. Please send someone over asap!

2023 Having some never-ending problems (over 1 year now, some light issues but some serious multiple level drops!) at 115 Bathurst St lifts, not very ideal for the tallest residential building in Sydney.
Multiple complaints followed by multiple inspections by servicemen, only to change nothing.
I'm happy to change my review once issues are fixed, just reply here if you believe they should be all resolved.

Thanks for the instructions, however, I've given you enough information to investigate further. You supply the lifts to the building, you should definitely have Building Management's contact, do use it if you actually want to resolve the issues.

Updated 2025: Been no serious issues past year so I’ve changed my rating to reflect that.

Do not engage the services of KONE! They are lazy, inefficient, and do not care about the inconvenience caused to disabled / elderly people who rely on a FUNCTIONING lift so that they can leave the building. Go with another provider, any other provider. these people are unprofessional and will not make any effort to fix the lift as they are contracted to do. Now they are refusing to communicate with us, just hanging up on our building manager. So unprofessional. Dont walk away from Kone - RUN !

No sense of urgency, both lift broken down, always waiting for parts and apparently it will take almost 7days to get the lift running again.

They are lazy to fix the lift. They don't really care about people who survive because of them. And they can't provide information over the call. Their lift always so danger and when you complaint. They can't come to fix up straight away because someone needs to order first such as building manager. In the meanwhile any incident happen they don't care .wow 🤯

This company is the worst. They literally will take you for a ride and waste your money. They never fix the problems with the lift, just bandaid it and hope to take more of your money. I’m sure when the builders contracted to Kone, it was the cheapest rubbish they could find.

A lift out of service more than it’s in service is a sign of a bigger problem with your company. Rubbish maintenance and contract agreements, poor maintenance staff and management it seems. Anyone looking for a lift for their building, don’t go with Kone.
